Quickly? Lol our fans were on Monte’s stick for like 4 years before they finally realized he didn’t have it all because he won the ACC in year 1

But Bakich won an ACC title his first year! And went 44-19

And all Monte Lee did in his first year was… win an acc title, go 44-19 and not advance out of the first round exactly like Bakich.

Exactly! Their first two seasons were mirror images of each other. After 2018 when we lost our 3rd straight home regional only a handful of fans wanted him gone. After year 4 it grew. Year 5 got cancelled. After year 6 most came around. After year 7 we all finally agreed.

Can’t stand a band wagon fan. We’ve had more than enough since my first games in the 1970’s. I do miss the Wilhelm days. Backich days seem as good if not better potential! I’m that guy that’s watched every game for so long he can’t remember missing one. Even in the hospital I was able to find our games!

Here's hoping we can get over 45 wins and a top eight seed with all the injuries. Going to be a hard road but it has been a great season.

Is there any solid news about Will Taylor’s wrist? Someone else posted they thought he was wearing a brace on his wrist in the dugout last night. These injuries are becoming a concern. Hopefully, Smith comes back pitching well and we benefit from a rested arm here in the later stages of the season.
