USC jr losses

Wide Receiver- Damiere Byrd, Nick Jones, Shaq Roland (two of the best receivers besides Cooper +1 srub) OL- Corey Robinson, AJ Cann (best OL) TE- Rory Anderson QB- Dylan Thompson (only option at QB, did Mitch or Orth get any reps?) RB- Mike Davis (best RB….Running Baby) S- Brison Williams (BEST DB by far) LB- Sharrod Golightly DL- JT Surratt (BEST DL)
10 total starters, 11 two deep.
Good news they keep all their bad players on defense. Don't have any replacements for the good ones that leave on offense or defense. They don't lose as much as FSU but they lose their only quality players.

to turn things around as much as the dirtpeckers. That's why their hair's on fire right now because they know this recruiting class is there only glimmer of hope. They need to hit on 90% of the players coming in which highly doubt happens.

Agreed and they could still lose some. Also what happens if he fires a coach after signing day like the rumors suggest. More players will transfer. Freshmen will be frustrated and little time to find a coach before spring practice. He can do it but it would be stupid. I don't think he will make changes. Ray Tanner has to be aggravated and in a bind. He has a legend of a coach that is screwing up the football program.

So you are content with the other scrubs on defense. Who is gonna be the QB? Who is gonna provide a threat besides Cooper? Who is gonna cover a soul? Skai cant do it himself. His name suggests otherwise but that is besides the point. I fully believe that you will be lucky to get 6-6. @UGA,@TENN, @Mizzou @A&M, UNC neutral site, UCF, Florida, Clemson, LSU at home. Citadel, Vandy, Kentucky are your only should wins. Kentucky could be dangerous too.

All I know is that YOUR great Sleeze Slurrier said all summer that he was unimpressed with the backup QBs. Just cause his name is connor does not make him great. Again did he get even ONE meaningful snap, did he get any non meaningful snaps for that matter??

But I'm not sure what that has to do with the absurdity of tiger woods arguing we are relying on 90% of our recruiting class for next season.

Well, your entire defense besides Skai Moore and Jonathan Walton could use an upgrade, hence the idea that 90% of your class should be expected to help with that.

RAISES hand... I have the answer Ms. Teacher. The coots will not have a good season next year. The only way the could is if 90% of their recruiting class pans out. That won't happen therefore bad season followed by bad season.

Your defense was horrible this year and yet you lose your 2nd best defender in Golightly. You lose your best RB, Your ONLY QB with ANY Experience, at least 2 starting Receivers, and the entire left side of your OL, (although I wish Robinson had 10 more years).
What he was saying is that if you miss on many of these recruits you could be down for quite a while, and you've already lost quite a few of the best recruits you had. Connor Mitch may be good, or he may suck, but fact is he has NO experience because y'all weren't afforded the opportunity to play him much because of how this year went. BTW, the other factor is you still have Lorenzo calling the shots on Defense which I hope stays the same forever.

First off, before anyone gets upset, there's guys in this class that will play and contribute this year. But when you get right down to it, there's not a single one that NEEDED to win it all. Everything in this class is gravy , and is the class that puts Clemson into the Elite Class.

I tried to tell all my Coot buddies before this season they'd probably lose 5+ games and they ended up losing 6. They might not even have a winning record next year. It's not all that hard to predict. If you don't recruit very well and you don't get your backups some significant snaps, you don't win.

Sorry we playedidn't you guys. You were not a good football team. I expect your defense to be improved but the offense to take a few steps back. Even if USC stays the same, the reams they play are getting better
Lsu uga Kent ten Fla Clemson UNC
Should all be better
Mizzo may stay the same or take a small step down, but you play them at there place.
All the above teams are better than USC next year

We lose a lot too. 8 defensively in Beasley, Watson, Jarrett, Crawford, Anthony, Stewart, Smith, and Peters and 4 offensively in Hump, Webster, Davis, and Beasley. Offensively we'll be fine as long as 4 is healthy but we'll truly see how good Coach V is this year.

The difference though is, most, if not all the replacements have seen significant snaps and are familiar with how BV wants the defense run. That really didn't/doesn't happen down in Cootlumbia. Not to mention they completely changed scheme's this past year.
I think the defense will be strong again next year regardless of the turnover cause not only do we have the talent but this past year's defense created an identity on that side of the ball. I don't think we somehow lose that in one year.

Agree with you on the defense. The defense was more than about the seniors. Granted, Beasley, Jarrett and Anthony will be missed. However, Lawson, Reader and Boulware are ready to step in. I keep harping on the fact that we have the steady influence of BV, DB, MR, and MH on these guys. We seriously reloaded on the DL with Huggins, Wilkins, Cervenka and Johnson. I dont see any of those guys redshirting. Course, obviously Im not the decision maker here but I would be surprised if any of them did. They need to get battle tested early. They are physically ready. Should be a fun spring to watch on both sides of the ball in the trenches.
