I just had a DUH moment, where I realized that we certainly have had a whole lot more receivers running open this year than the last couple. Now, some of this is due to better personnel, but some of it is with the SAME personnel. It almost makes me think that maybe other teams had OUR play call sign system figured out, and the new in-helmet communications has helped us more than we know. What sez Ewe?

I would point more to the fact of something that has for the most part been conspicuously missing from Dabo's hands since the UGA game. Hint: It is about the size of a Waffle House menu.

The previous post was incorrect and was the basis for the illusory truth effect we have with Dabo and his involvement in the offense

No one can say what you did or didnt see. I have seen him looking at it many times during the game. In fact I sat pretty much right behind him at the game this weekend and watched him look at it a good bit.

I think the helmet communication definitely helps our defense from being so side lined focused right up till the snap.

No, I don’t think they had our signals. We were just not that good offensively last year from any position group except maybe rb’s.
