Yes, Tyler brown can and probably will redshirt. Keep in mind, he can still play in the post season. So at this point unless we have a rash of injuries, no reason to play him regular season. This is a good thing as he should see plenty of pt next season.

Day to day - Probably won't play this week. But, not out for the year.
Week to week - Definitely out this week. May be out for the year. But may be able to play before the season is over.
Out for the year - Definitely won't play this year.

Maybe he just doesn’t know for sure so doesn’t want to hazard a precise guess? Combine that with “the opponent needs to have to plan for him just in case” and everybody is day to day or week to week. Until surgery is scheduled the “he out”

If Brown can play 1-2 regular season games, they better not hold him out just so he can redshirt and then transfer in a year or two with an extra year of eligibility. We gotta stop thinking like these WR are going to stay with us for 5 years

Hopefully with no more WR injuries it would be best to redshirt T. Brown then have him play post season if that's where things wind up. Come back strong next year and have success like A. Williams. GO TIGERS.
