Good article and good information for preseason purposes. I buy into nothing at this point. We've heard many of the same things about guys that spent 3-4 years here and were never more than role players.
Have heard nothing about others and they wind up being key contributors.
It's all good, and will all be revealed in time.

Every year I was excited about the many of the WR's who were coming in and for the most part, I've been really pleased....until 2020.
Between seeing how overrated they were, how they didn't block and how little they were ready to make any impact whatsoever, I decided this year, after 4 years of disappointment (fueled by injuries too) that I was not going to have any expectations what so ever.
My only expectation this year is: that it can't get worse.
My hope is that we've run our course of the plethora of injuries year after year and that we are largely healthy in 2024. Because the last 4 years have been beyond anything I've seen in 25 years of watching the Tigers.

Moore has a little more weight for blocking than Wesco does, but both will be Clemson stars that were bright when they are done with college ball...

Even more than usual on the line. A strong Tiger showing will underline Clemson Football's realignment preparedness and positioning against a tip-top Tier 1 team.
WR routes, speed, blocking and hands will need to be crisp and in evidence. The best three WR's and best 5-6 in rotation will have an opportunity to elevate the position group, Cade and the team. Go Tigers!

Yeah they can AO52. But it eventually all comes back to cade. We actually had some good wr play last season. Some were wide open had cade looked their way. Other times, cade was running for his or eating grass because of missed assignments.

Yep, but I personally believe that Cade is a much better QB than what we saw of him last season. I blame Cade's last season play on O Line, and a room full of unhealthy receivers!!!

Sammy Brown is also one of the nation's top high school RB. He could be used to relieve some pressure off of Mafah.

Yes, he was a really good RB in HS, but the kid is talented in the defensive backfield that he probably will never play a down anywhere at the college level other than the defensive side of the ball, and that's just the facts... Actually, the only way I could ever see Sammy as a RB at the college level would be if Mafah and #2 RB was lost for the season, other than that, no chance!!!
