Sure he can.
He said, "Lots of discussion."
Apparently he found a girl that responded to that.

Bama gets to show everyone this Saturday if they belong in top 4. In the next few weeks at least two teams ahead of us will lose a game. Our task is to win the games we play. Control what we can control.

Here is the problem. Lsu vs bammer. If lsu loses, and the game is close, where do you think they put lsu? I would bet that they stay in the top 4, based on this groups friggin criteria. Bammer goes 1 and lsu goes to 4. These clowns are desperate to get a Natty that isnt Clemson vs. Bammer. Oregons defense is similar to ours? C'mon man.

Or, LSU beats Bama Sans Tua.
You know they'll keep Bama afloat if that's their only loss.

Well, they had that banner win against unranked, one-win Northwestern. That was the week they leapfrogged us in the AP... Obviously the best team in the Nation.

Mullen is still butt hurt DJ is coming to Clemson so he’s trying to find any way to help DJ change his mind. I really hope they interview Mullen after the NC game and ask him what he thinks then.

So Penn St barely beats Pitt and gets a pass but we are penalized
Nov 6, 2019, 3:45 AM

for doing the same with North Carolina? Bama’s resume is no better. Eye test? Apparently they are not looking at the defense for Bama and Clemson. It’s pretty obvious that we are held to a different standard and that they must have quit watching Clemson a few weeks ago. It’s as if people only want to watch the UNC game and a few highlights of Trevor’s interceptions while totally ignoring everything else that this team is doing.

It’s always a bunch double speak with the CFP chairs. A close win at home against an “awful ACC Coastal team” is described as a good win for PennSt by Mullen. In reality the CFP believes the SEC and Big10 are the strongest conferences and the rankings top to bottom reflect that.

It doesn't matter where you are ranked now. The top 4 teams play each other too. There's going to be room. Just stay undefeated.

Honestly, I think the only way LSPU/'Bammer both stay in the top 4 after his weekend is if they play a close, exciting game. If it's a comfortable win for either, I think the other drops out.

I wish one of these idiots would just tell the truth once.
They are jealous of Clemson's success and it's all about politics and money.
Penn State better than Clemson? I can maybe see how they came up with the others, but Penn State? It doesn't matter anyway because they will play Ohio State and one will be eliminated.
Also, as a Texas fan, LSU is highly overrated. I don't see what all the fuss is about since Texas sucks and was a dropped pass from being up on LSU 21-3 early and then tying up the game. LSU isn't that good, but I don't think Bama is either.
Oregon lost to Auburn who had a true freshman starting his first ever game and Auburn is not good. Come on, man.
This 'Payoff' committee that most call the playoff committee truly stinks. Put regular Joe guys in it like me who just love football and want the best in and not Notre Dame all the time.
Look at where they have Notre Dame and Michigan ranked and right after Wisconsin if you think these clowns know what they are doing. They'd do anything to have Notre Dame in the playoffs again including sex with anyone.

Clemson is the undisputed NC and are the only top division team to win 15 games. We have won 2 of the last 3 natties. Until we are defeated we are still the champs. I realize we will get in if we win out but in this new age who knows how they will vote.

Clemson, Penn State and Alabama
Nov 6, 2019, 9:15 AM
|
|
If you go back and listen to Rece's question, he asked how the committee felt Clemson was fifth behind Penn State AND ALABAMA. Rob Mullen said there was lengthy discussion comparing Penn State and Clemson. Mullen specifically, and conveniently, dodged the Alabama portion of the question.
Do what you want, but remember, there will be a reckoning and it will be by a pair of claws!

They look for any way to keep Clemson out of the picture but it will not work for long as Alabama will have to play LSU this week plus Auburn at the end of the season. Ohio State still has to play Penn State and Michigan. Of course Clemson must run the table otherwise the selection committee will never consider Clemson. WE NEED AN EIGHT (8) TEAM PLAYOFF SYSTEM!!!!

Trying to Hurt Clemson Recruiting
Nov 6, 2019, 12:48 PM
|
|
I think the big picture would be: "let's hurt their chances of landing great players moving forward"! You could go to Clemson and go undefeated and still not have a chance for a ring. The conspiracy theory person in me thinks that's the agenda. Because it use to be: they wouldn't be physical enough in the trenches to hang - just put them in to keep them happy. Proven wrong though! Then you blast Bama and everyone is scared to death to the point they have to try and derail the Clemson train headed straight for their weak candy a*^*es!
Lots of ball to be played and other teams not listed so far will play huge roles. Like Auburn losing more. Texas losing more. Texas A&M continuing to win!
Imagine how it would look for a second and all the talk if Clemson were winners of 28 straight and defending national champions - being left out! Would the teams in it even really feel like they were #1? I'll bet not - b/c they know they didn't beat the standard!

Penn St beat Pitt by 7 Pitt beat GT by 10 and Syracuse by 7 We beat GT by 38 and Syracuse by 35
You can be sure if we played starters whole game we’d beat Pitt by 40-50.
This selection process is nutty.
