Today, we rest.

And this week, I pray for friends close to home. I have several friends who are undergoing health issues right now, both physical and mental. I pray that these things will soon pass, and they will return to good health, in all aspects.
We are but a speck of dust on a mote of time in the eyes of God. But, the Good Book tells us He created us in His Own Image, and, for reasons not always clear, he loves us in spite of what we are. I pray that love will be tempered with mercy for the good health of my friends, as well as myself. I also had a spate of hurling nausea yesterday morning, a couple of times. Second time in a couple of weeks for that. My oldest son has a severe case of gastroparesis, and sometimes I think I have tendencies in that direction as well.
I lift all these prayers, and ask for forgiveness and mercy, in the name of My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who can do all things. Amen.

I pray for safe travels for myself and friends. I pray for safety of my wife while I am out of town. I pray for 76er and his fiends struggling with health issues. I pray for my father who got blood test results showing PSA level at 4.5. His levels have never been higher than 3.5. I pray it’s just benign prostatic hyperplasia instead of prostate cancer. I pray for safety while I work my fathers route for him this week. I pray for salvation for all those who do not know our Lord and savior. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

Thanks for your prayers. Life is like a blink of a eye. If you believe in Jesus you will have eternity in Heaven. Sure sounds better than the alternative.

I have purposely taken a break from the Hill Watch, as there are obvious attempts afoot to PointHo, as we were previously accused of. Replying to every reply is a bit much, even for an old PointHo like me.

Thank you for that. I'm in a sorry mood this morning, and I know that going to Church will help straighten that out.

I pray God blesses you with peace beyond understanding. I also pray your continued retirement is truly your golden years.
My pastor calls it a checkup from the neck up. Worshipping the Lord can work miracles on a sour mood. I’m so thankful we live where we can worship him openly.
I very thankful for our TNet family. We’re all brothers and sisters in the Lord and all things Clemson. I couldn’t think of a better combination.

All it takes to get me out of a sour mood, or a self pity party, is to just think about those just in the small circle of people I know, who have it much worse than me. Then, I feel embarrassed about complaining about my relatively good station in life. I have a lot of aches and pains, but there is a good, paid for roof over my head, money to put food on the table every meal, I am safely retired, and the wolf is not at the door. I am thankful for all these things.
