No Sir, several bizarre upsets like mercer beating Bama or something would have to happen. We're not getting in unless we win the acc championship.
By the time the season end poll comes out, if we win out, we'll have zero wins over a CFB poll team.

this is exactly why we should want the shamecocks to be ranked and relevant every year. we need more opportunities to play out of conference ranked teams.

I tried. I swear. I thought, they have the name of our state. But I can't. Their fans are too horrible. Zero class. Literally the only good thing I can say is somehow every year they think they will be good. They never are, but next year they will be. That alone is their one quality that shines. Eternal hope. But I can't.

Their problem is they have no shame or humility, and what amazes me is how that attitude affects them all.
I remember we had a streak of winning 10 of 12 games against them including 5 in a row I think. They won the next year, and it was like they had the dominant program. One of my coot friends told me we would never beat them again.
I don’t understand that mindset.

Those words of, we would never beat them again, were the words heard throughout cootU. How long did it take our Tigers to change those words by winning the next 7 games in a row? After 2013 those chickens didn't smell another win against our Tigers until 2022, so how well did all that bragging they were doing work out for them, they lost the next 7 straight, a stretch they will never accomplish through their existence!!!

I hear you and that's your opinion, I hope to never see the coots ranked, not even at the start of the season when they have all the ranking screwed up where no team that's ranked in the top 10 won't be ranked at the end of the season!!!

Something’s a little off about the Big 10 having 4 oit of the top 5. I’m not sure I’m buying into that.
Also, the Coots have improved dramatically over the course of the season and that game could be tough

They have been known in their history to win one and sometimes two in row against us before we will slam them in Death Valley and the roach the next 4,5,6,7 in a row!!!

Yes we'd get the edge in a 2 way tie with them, but for that to happen, miami has to lose again. Otherwise, it would be a 3 way tie and as you said, we are on the outside looking in at that point. the 2 way tiebreaker with smu is a moot point...other than determining seeding in the ACCCG.
No matter what, we need to beat Pitt and have either SMU or Miami lose 2

So many scenarios but the only one that counts is us not losing again. From that we depend on a lot of things to happen which was set up by our laws so we just have to live with it.

it was to give espn owned sec and fox owned big 10 more seats at the table. leaving the acc isnt just about money..its also about afooting more opportunity. as is we either win the conference title or bust. but in the big and sec you can afford to drop a few games.
