I'd wager that's why SMU beat them as bad as they did, they were scared to take their foot off the gas. Probably a factor in why these things tend to snowball the way they do. I hope we treat them the EXACT same way and if we wind up beating them by 50, we'll just have to try our very hardest to feel bad about it, won't we?

We might initially beat them by 50, and then we take the starters out and the margin drops to 25...

Yeah, I have never understood why people had a problem with that. I'm not a gambler so while I love a blowout, I'd MUCH rather the underclassmen get game reps in Q2 and Q3 than the last 5 mins. When we were rolling, that's partly why; because our starters for next season will have played a BUNCH.

I think that Clemson of the future benefits more when we play more than our starters. Our stats don't look as pretty but why do we care? DW and TL didn't win the Heisman when they had great stats. So it's always pay it forward, then everyone keeps winning. We are suffering now the lack of this exact behavior we couldn't afford last year. We kept first string in bc we didn't blow out anyone and put backups in. So it hurts us now (sorta) but will pay dividends later. That's 2 cents.
Go Tigers.

This is one of many reasons why I’d be cautious thinking we will beat them by more than 20.
However, I did put a normal size wager on the Tigers -14.5. I know, tight range, but I expect somewhere closer to 17.
That being said, I’ll continue revising my projections upward for this team if we handily cover that. Hope we do.
Go Tigers!

So he broke a finger on his throwing hand. I watched all his games this year and he cant throw with either hand.
