Prove it.
No fumbles.
Better decision making from QB
Better play calling from coaches
Sack the opposition on a steady routine
Beat the Dawgs, then spank the coots
Nuff said, just prove it
Go Tigers!!!! 💪

Agreed. Can't wait until the third or fourth game to get our act together. I'm with Dabo.

Dabo is the head coach. At $10M/year it's HIS job to instill and maintain that "sense of urgency" starting on THE FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE, NOT HALFWAY THROUGH THE F#%#ing SEASON!!!!!!!!! If Dabo and his staff get the credit for the late season turnaround, they also get the blame for the dumpster fire start to the season.
Before the season last year I said that we would learn a lot about Dabo and the trajectory of the Clemson football program. I was right; and what we learned was mostly bad. Our entire receiver corps seems to be EXTREMELY injury prone, and has been for a few years now. New of our OL's progress looked to be all but total horse####.
I have one main question at this point: Who is it on staff that is responsible for coaching and developing QBs? Who is that guy and what has he been doing? Anything?

That’s what I’ve been wondering too. Streeter was the QB coach but who does it now?

For all with the exception of those with a reading comprehension, last season when were 4-4 Dabo let it be known in a loud and clear voice that every bodies job was in jeopardy and that meant players and his staff that led to two coaches being let go and replaced, plus I think more of our players hit the transfer portal than ever before and you have to believe that Dabo encouraged those guys to find somewhere else to go play bc their playing time at with his team would be very limited if any. He has done as HC what I believe should have been done with the exception of one coach in my personal opinion, but Dabo may see something in that coach than a lot of us fans have seen. But the truth is that none of us that don't work directly with the program don't really know who does what or how they do it, and with that none of us know who really should be replaced, not even me, ouch!!!
I don't know how many games we will win this coming season, but I do believe that we will see a much better team on the field than we've seen the past few years, but there is a few other teams in the ACC that are trying to improve their FB programs also...

Hate to be this way, but like you said, prove it on the field in the game, and it’s legit.

When was our last blowout win? I already forget. Something where we scored over 60 and held our opponent to under 14.

Those kinds of wins are almost exclusive to small conference opponents. Like 66-17 last year vs Charleston Southern. We did beat GT last year 42-21 which I would argue is a beat down.

Prove it on the field. We’ve heard all this “different” talk before. Let’s be honest, the program got fat and happy and that started with the leadership. We’ll see soon enough if something has actually changed.

Dabo moved out of Cruise Control at 4-4 last year

Dabo did what he needed to do, and it was not pretty but Tigers finished 5-0. This season I hope to see Dabo loosen up on micro management of Garrett Riley ... and the Offense is allowed to be more balanced with Cade/OL/WR/TE growth.

I watched the game against Kentucky again recently. My confidence in cade plummeted again. He's got to be better. I hope that he put on some weight and added strength because he seems to get brought down with one armed tackles all game. Also, I'd like to see him throw a pass further than 10 yards. Kentucky looked like a bigger and better team across the board last year. And better coached. I don't know how we pulled that off.

I just want to get through this the rest of this Fall camp with no serious injuries and have all hands on deck to kick off the season. We have a lot more weapons offensively now and a workhorse RB that doesn't have to split carries anymore. As much as I love Ship, the offense seemed way more fluid with Mafah being the primary guy. We'll find out early what we got for sure.

We’ve been hearing this type of pre-season talk for a while. Like others on here have said, prove it on the field. Last season Clemson under-performed on the field and on the sidelines in coaching. Let’s face it, Dabo won the National titles on the backs of generational QBs, talented WRs, and the coaching of Brent Venables. The program hasn’t been the same since they left. With the possible exception of Goodwin, and the recent hiring of Luke and Riley(jury still out on him), Dabo has put in his people to fill the roles, doing things his way with NIL and the transfer portal, and people are concerned. The UGA game will set the tone. And it’s pretty much on Cade’s shoulders to lead the team(the team has been missing leadership for a while), execution, and for God’s sake, no turnovers. Dabo is paid very, very well to win games. Stop bloviating and win d a m n i t.
