I stepped out to run a practice up 9-3 and came back to hear 9-9. I knew something was up when I could hear the crowd still into the game after a pop fly out. What happened to get them back into the game?

Off the top of my head, a walk, a few hits, and a key error all lead to the runs. In fact I think the last 3 were unearned due to the error (I believe on our SS).

give up the most runs in? I'm always concerned if a starter has a long inning or two, that their last inning is when runs are scored. Should we be calling to the bullpen earlier? (barring a no hitter or something)

along with some timely hitting by WCU is really what led to the six run inning by WCU, four of which were unearned.

WCU led off with a double to right field and scored two batters later on a one-out double over the third-base bag.

Back-to-back walks then loaded the bases

WCU hit a slow grounder to Wilkerson at second, who booted the ball enabling the runner to score from third.

After a fielder's choice out at the plate, WCU flared a two-out single to left-center on an 0 - 2 pitch to score two more runs.

Then WCU grounded a single up the middle to plate two more, tying the score 9 - 9.
