Very happy about the group he’s bringing with him too. Sounds like DJ keeps “good counsel” close...a mark of wisdom in this young man!
I wonder who his H.S. teammate is? Does anybody know?

I don't think we've offered anyone else from his school.
With an arm like his, how could you not want to be QB at WRU? We have 2 more stud WR's coming next year to add to our stable. Ladson & Ngata look like they could be T Higgins & M Williams clones.

Someone should tell him to drop Auburn from his list. Malzahn is on the hot seat and losing too many games. And if the bagmen spend all of their money buying out CGM's contract when they fire him, their bags will be empty.
JK - AU does not pay recruits.

Later starts allows players from all over to still play on Friday night and make it into TigerTown to see a game, visit coaches and see the campus.

I hope he didn’t take it personally with Streeter not going to the game because it was postponed. Hopefully they are making a full court press to make DJ a priority and really show him what Clemson is all about. Now if only o-linemen would start taking notice the caliber of signal callers and specialist Clemson brings in hopefully they will starting coming to Clemson too. ????Can’t wait for the game this weekend!!!!!! Go Tigers and I hope DJ has a great time.

I believe CBS was at his game, but they didn’t have an opportunity to speak because of a weather delay. Clemson sells itself. DJ loves Clemson. He’s gonna love watching us cane NCSU, too.

Even though it put a lot of un-wanted attention on Clemson FB with the KB and Trevor adventure, I did think that it would show recruits that if they could come and beat somebody out for a position that they would get an opportunity for playing time as a true freshman. But that is the way it should be at any position, and with that being a factor, it will keep guys giving it their all once they get a starting position. If you win a spot and slack up, you risk losing it to the next guy that wants it more!!!

big time player

I watched his game against Mater Dei and he has “got it”. He was far superior to the Young quarterback that usc has received a commitment from already. Having he and his dad at homecoming will be a wonderful experience for them both. As I have stated before, homecoming at Clemson is special and it will help us attract this special young player. Home the weatherman is wearing orange Saturday.

Agreed. And the QB for Mater Dei who’s headed to USC is a 5-star. Hope to see DJ wearing Clemson orange. He’d be a freshman the year TL is a junior.

Really sounds like a good well rounded young man that understands the best player plays. But here at Clemson he will gain far more spiritually, he will find that Dabo will do the right thing by his players no matter the cost to him. I pray for safe travels for this young man and fortune wherever god leads him. I hope it’s in Clemson orange. GO TIGERS!!!!!!!

With the Parents being Christians and raising their kids with the Christian faith, Clemson has to be in their family conversations a lot bc the HC at Clemson being so strong with his faith and doesn't mine letting anyone know that he is a God fearing Christian with his faith being the strongest part of his character. Take in how firm Dabo is planted at Clemson, what God fearing Parents wouldn't want their son also planted under Dabo's care and leadership for ever how long they will be away at college.
If it is Clemson that the kid and his family settles with, I'm sure some where along the way the family will want to relocate closer to Clemson. If that isn't an option or part of the plans for the Parents, I just don't think that Clemson is where he will attend college bc, working class families can't afford that kind of $$$expense$$$ for traveling those distances they would have to traveled to see their son play college FB, and I'm sure that Big Dave has to be a part of that. And the home sickness that DJ would experience along with the separation that the parents would be feeling with their kid that far away, it would never work. Nobody wants the best QB in the country to come to Clemson anymore than I do, but a lot of things would have to fall in place for that to happen with the #1 QB being in California....
Add on) Is there anything in the NCAA rules about a booster Helping a recruits family with Jobs and relocating???
