Right after saying that

He said 8 years ago he set out to put Clemson back on top. Well we are on top now. After last year's game, he told everybody we were gonna be back this year, he was right. After Monday's game he said 'hopefully' we will get another before he's out to pasture. The pasture is Alabama.

Well, he can stay at Clemson and be The King pretty much

no matter what happens. It's a place he truly loves - and he built it from the ground up; it's a reflection of his vision - it's his baby. He can acheive everything he wants to acheive as a coach right here at Clemson. He's wealthy beyond belief.
If he goes to Bama, he will be under tremendous pressure. Lose a couple of games and he will start receiving death threats. Will a little more money be worth it when he has such a tremendous situation already at Clemson? I just don't see how.

Listen I hope he stays. I just think if he's offered, he'll take it. And he will be offered, maybe not right after Saban leaves, but he will be offered the job at Alabama. Would you agree with that?

As he should. It's his alma mater and where he got his start in coaching. We may lose him to Alabama some day, but anyone taking over after Saban inherits a poisoned chalice so I think it will be a long way down the road.

His best quote of the night for me after it was over is:
""...This is just the beginning and hopefully we can win a few more before they put me out to pasture..." Key words being ME and WE.
I think the only way he would leave and go to bama is if the bama program and winning went downhill. Really don't see that happening.

I don't think its a given by any means. Part of it may

depend on when Saban retires, but it's going to be nearly impossible to fill his shoes at Bama and those fans are going to expect whoever takes over to win 12 games, the SEC, and make the playoff every single year. Dabo has already built HIS program at Clemson and he's pretty much earned legend status here. He could decide that Clemson is where he wants to stay. He could also go back to his alma mater and nobody would blame him, but I certainly wouldn't just assume that.

Even if Dabo does leave, he will have have already won 2 or 3 more titles.
He's mentioned multiple times he will win 3 or 4 so we're no longer "little ole Clemson".
He won't just jump ship without leaving us is very good shape.
