.......you had nothing. Nobody had a beam of light like they did. A few years later here comes all this new military tactical grade stuff and it was flashlight blitz.

I have never owned a Maglite, but I would imagine that it is a matter of personal preference, just like anything else.

I will be using them around the house, so they should be more than suitable for that.
