Tailgating near the Hendrix Center

My parents will need to ride the Handicapped shuttle from the Hendrix Center over to the stadium this year and I am wondering if this area (around the Hendrix Center, near Redfern, etc.) will make a good spot to tailgate? Any advice? Thanks and Go Tigers!

It is about as far away as you can get from the stadium while still being on campus.

Tailgating near Hendrix is a nice 5 minute walk to Bowman (which is perfect for Homecoming) or just strolling downtown. Hendrix Center has indoor restrooms. Plus, it is a quick exit for beating the traffic after the game.
