who regularly shares his Christian morals, and has earned the reputation for running a clean program and doing things the right way.
I’m not saying it’s fair, but it is human nature - especially from secular media.
I read every word of the long article about the Carman allegations. It makes Jackson look bad, but I didn’t think it made Clemson look bad at all. A thorough investigation was conducted and Clemson University handled it appropriately in my opinion.

I have to question how this doesn’t look bad for Clemson. If JC admitted to having ### with a 15 yo when he was 18 that is illegal. She was underage. No way CU didn’t know about that. Should have booted him no matter if it was consensual or not.

The problem with message boards is people post things as fact when they are clueless about what is fact:

In South Carolina, consensual sex between a minor who is 14 or older and a defendant who is 18 years old or younger is not considered a crime. For example, a 15-year-old who engages in consensual sex with a 17-year-old cannot be charged with statutory rape.
So given the act was not reported for two years and the two disagree on it being consensual, the police had no choice but to let it go with out charges

After reading the report, the mother of this girl needs to have her parental rights revoked. What kind of mom lets her 15 year old daughter go to a movie with a 18 year old random boy that she just met at 11 pm and not get home until 1am? What kind of mom just let’s her 15 year old daughter ride around with said 18 year old random boy the next day, and not know where they were going (shocker they end up in a bedroom alone)? Then when her daughter tells her she just got raped, not go to the police. It’s parents like this that put their children in these horrible positions and should never be able to make a decision for another child again.

no way to know what is truth and what is not true. It could be that she thinks it was nonconsensual and him thinking it consensual simply because she was not able to clearly raise an objection.
Personally i blame the Mom who was told and did not insist on reporting it to the police not to mention allowing her 15 year old daughter to hang out unsupervised with a college freshman.

You ok? Strong language and apparent anger spew. If you haven’t read the article please do so. Who knows the truth but if any part of the article is right - predator comes to mind. Mother and daughter “Clemson football player”. Our men have to understand our university is smack dab in the part of state with lots of drugs, poverty and people looking for a way out.
