You couldn't tell that FSU won and was in the ACC the way some of the ESPN analyst were talking.
Jimbo coached under Saban and built his team after the SEC model.
FSU is a SEC team playing in the ACC
Auburn was "Battle Tested" in the SEC all year while FSU hasn't played anyone all year. [this one was my favorite b/c they didn't talk about how Auburn played Washington State, West Carolina, Arkansas St, and Florida Atlantic.]
The SEC has 4 to 5 schools that are gonna contend for a title...i mean they can't get them all but they get to pick and choose. The ACC only has like 2 maybe... [my next favorite b/c they named FSU and Clemson...yet b/c they pushed their conference agenda they refused to say the team names. I mean whe know it's Bama, LSU, Auburn...I'll say UF and TENN are the other's based on the fact that those are the only 5 teams in the SEC to have won a title.]
All in all...FSU won the title and not the ACC but this agenda is ridiculous.

#### shame that the SEC rejects have reduced ppl to this

Even I'll admit it, a part of me was happy FSU won the championship just to stop all the SEC circle jerkin'. That's just sad. Living in FL I really can't stand FSU fans. They are a pretty arrogant fanbase and that stupid chant is insufferable. Seriously, once you've gone to any bar here and witnessed a drunken FSU fan belligerently repeating that idiotic chant like it's the most clever thing in the world, you'll never look at them the same. Don't even pretend they have any conference pride. They want nothing more than to see us flounder because they are scared of our recent success.

in '92.
Not nearly as embarrassing as Clemson's 0-56 record in Chapel Hill. Thats a series my kid's grandkids won't live to see become a rivalry.

and we had a 21 game losing streak.
I'm not sure how it relates to playing Auburn only 7 times since we didn't play them either year

The SEC "formula" Is Soooo, yesterday ....
Jan 12, 2014, 1:08 PM
[ in reply to SEC still finished with 3 in the top 5 ] |

Recruit the biggest goons you can and overpower the opponent ... run a boring staight ahead offense ...
The NFL HAD this same mentality ... now they are finding that the SPREAD offenses are better ...
Actually, the best offense is where you combine the two, and WE are going to have that next season ... Kelly runs the spread, that other fellow the the pro-sets ... he is a good thrower ...

I'm ecstatic that Florida State won. They're the only non sec team that a win would be great for us.
Florida State being back to their 90s form just means clemson is fighting that uphill fight we have to fight in the SEC East.

If another team had ended the streak like say Oregon or Stanford. Someone who does not really compete against Clemson for recruits. But I'm just glad the SEC lost the game. Having an ACC team win could help us some in recruiting. I mean Auburn hadn't won a NC in over 50 years and then Bama gets back to national prominence and they then win one and play in it this year. So it's possible to spin it in our favor. To be the best you have to beat the best, sorry coots, you all don't fall into that category. But GA, LSU, Auburn, FSU do; and we can use that to get great recruits.

Why is everyone so happy FSU won the national Championship? It will kill us in recruiting. FSU will immediately start getting many more top recruits. An ACC team other than Clemson winning the national title sure as #### don't help us any.
