SC Senator Tim Scott “selling out” to MAGA? Oh well ….

“Senate Banking Chair Tim Scott (R-S.C.) has spent years boosting a federal program to support minority-owned businesses. President Donald Trump’s administration dismantled it in a matter of weeks.“

He's been a boot licker for him and excused his terrible behavior over and over. And this is a great example of how Trump eventually treats those who are loyal to him.

Good. It sounds discriminatory.

It's not usually loans or grants that have the impact. Government has procurement targets for lots of categories of businesses: small business, minority-owned, women-owned, native american-owned, veteran-owned, disabled person-owned, "disadvantaged" (which covers both rural and inner city businesses), and probably another couple of categories I can't think of right now. True government "efficiency" would narrow the number of vendors way down, but would put lots of small businesses all around the country out of business.

True since we are regressing to the 1920s & 1930s, bring back segregation

Jim Crow laws and the KKK. Seems consistent for MAGA.

That’s what he gets for supporting Trump, he cares not about others.

I can see him fading away somewhat in upcoming years. I don't see where he fits in politically moving forward.
