Hate to hear about an injury for any player. That being said then the Tigers need to bring pressure, heat and every look the Freshman has never seen. Box him in on both ends and linebackers and safety’s make him and the so called pack remember the CLEMSON TIGERS. Keep the foot on the gas and don’t let up.

That’s kinda what I was thinking man. Dave saw how Bailey played and knew that’s their best option. Dave even said the injury isn’t that serious.

Agreed. The young freshman did very well against LA Tech in second half.
Few observations.
He's very fast and shifty on the run. LA Tech had at least 2 chances to pick him off and simply didn't catch the ball.
NC st has one heck of a kicker. Hit a 52 yard kick that had 5+ more on it.
I expect we will sew a lot of busted plays and if we don't sack the QB he will heav a few 50/50s that either bite us or we pick off

I smell smoke. McCall will start. Cigar breathe Dave just said Bailey would take over "UNTIL" McCall is healthy, and McCall is "day to day". HE did NOT say Bailey would start.
Edit: I stand corrected. The original article I read never said Bailey would start, however, later articles do.

I'm with you, sure he said Bailey would start but the other two lines "day to day" and "until he's ready" means the statement about Bailey starting is fluid. I think McCall starts and Davo's comments make me think he's thinking so too.

A true freshman quarterback getting his first start in college in Death Valley deserves nothing less.
Between that and our defense, if he doesn't rattle, I'll be surprised (and impressed!).

If our defense is truly one of the best in the nation the Freshman QB should look like one. We need to throw multiple looks at him. Shifts everything and we will win.

Would not put it past Doreen to sub in Mcall after a couple series to try and throw us a wrinkle. Maybe even alternate QBs. Two totally different playing styles. Hope the D plants ‘em both.

Tigers need to come ready to roll and be prepared, take nothing for granted and play better than last game, and they will crush……. Each week get a little better……. Don’t worry about who is at QB, just worry about execution and destroying the opponent… GO TIGERS!
