He said he may commit on May 5. He likely wanted it to be a secret and someone leaked it. So then he said it may be May 5th but it may not be. He was probably trying to be neat by making that video and it wasn’t done yet til today. Then he released it saying he was committing may 5. Give the kid a break he has done nothing dishonest and most of this is created by media intrusiveness. There’s a good chance he’ll announce Clemson on Sunday.

But if psychology is true according to the way he wrote his tweet he's picking Clemson. He put Oregon first and Clemson 2nd. When it comes to predictions. People usually do this in hopes of throwing people off. It seeming too simple to put the correct answer first. An example would be why when taking a test A. will always be the answer least likely of being correct and C. is always the most likely. Human behavior works like that. If this were a gamble knowing this I'd be willing to go all in (No pun intended) That D.J. is coming to Clemson.

I hope you’re right and when you break down the psychology behind it it makes sense. I’ve even been guilty of it unintentionally. And the all in had to be pun intended lol.
Either way I hope this young man excels and achieves his dreams and goals wherever he ends up. He would look excellent in the Orange clad with the iconic White Tiger paw! If I were a top qb i know where I’d be going. They don’t call Clemson WRU for no reason. Plus Brandon Streeter is an excellent QB coach so he’d get to learn under him and Trevor. There are plenty of tools to succeed that are available in Tiger Town for a young QB or football player in general and you have the best weapons in the country to unload those bombs on. It makes your job a lot easier as a QB.
Add that in with the fact at Clemson you’re almost guaranteed a shot at a title at this point in time so if that’s a goal he’s looking to achieve it’s a no brainer. Oregon could possibly make it to a national championship with him under the helm but their D possibly couldn’t take enough off his plate to win one without a legendary performance.
I like our chances but it’s this young mans choice and his future so if his hearts in Oregon I don’t blame him. I just know the most logical choice in his position from a success point of view is at Clemson.

We are spoiled by TL being “no maintenance.” He wanted no fanfare. Just called Dabo out of the blue to tell him his decision. The 300 other top recruits just show us how special TL is. He never wanted the attention or fanfare.

There's no harm in DJ wanting to play up his commitment a bit. He has a ton of people hanging on his every word. He's 18 year's old. It's a big deal to him. We can allow him to have his moment.

There is no harm, I agree. This is a fun time for them and all of his peers do similar things. I don’t hold it against him. I’m just noting how unique TL is, who has rapidly become my favorite college football player since Peyton Manning was tearing it up the same great humility and work ethic while I was in high school.

I hope and think he will be coming to Clemson...but I dont buy into all these star ratings....DJ is good, maybe great in the end....but I have asked this question and no one can answer....How can you be the #1 player in your position and be a 4 Star? proof RJ Mickens.....#1 safety in the country but only a 4 star....therefore, to me these stars mean nothing, its coaching that matters...
