I can't remember ever seeing a line at the payphone booth and today its hard to pass a car and somebody in it not be on the phone. Progress I guess.
55 years ago a spacecraft landed on the moon and a man got out and walked on the surface, couple weeks ago an unmanned spacecraft landed and it made the news for 3 days. Progress???

When I looked up a number I needed at the pay phone it seems like the page I needed was always ripped out of the phone book that was hanging in the booth.

Pay phones didn’t have texting and Facebook and tick tock, etc.

What I usually witness is not people talking on the phone… they are just looking down at their lap.
Completely oblivious to the fact they are driving a vehicle.
I can’t believe there aren’t more wrecks.

And yes… Get off my lawn!!!

than Apollo 11 and the command control center combined had. It would be akin to the wright brothers flying across the atlantic. Am I saying it didnt happen? Eh.....just call me a skeptic.
