I hope he does well there. He is a good coach and a good man who was probably put in a situation he wasn’t ready for. I imagine that nobody is more disappointed in Wes’s performance as DC at Clemson than Wes.

I expect you are absolutely correct. Maybe he will figure some of the things he didn't do well and get them fixed. I wish him well, and I certainly want Brent to be successful. He was a great asset to Clemson for a long time. He helped us become quite a factor for a long time. Hoping our new hire is that successful, too.

Yeah, I thought the same. I guess Wes thinks he can work his way back up the ladder. I might have decided to sit out awhile until another analyst position opened up. Maybe the money is the same, but I would think a highly valued analyst would pay better than an assistant outside linebackers coach...

I was expecting Brent Venables to hire him at OU. Same way I would expect Dabo to hire him at Clemson again if he left OU.
