Why don't other teams poach our coaches?

With few exceptions, our football and basketball coaches don't get poached.. the main reason why is.. well.. it is what it is. No demand.

First, the original comment was about other schools taking our coaches, not merely showing interest.
Second, you don’t know who has shown interest either. But I would bet good money that there has been little to no interest shown in our assistants by other power 4/5 schools over the last few years.

I bet he's turned down 25 top 25 schools offers to talk, it would be hundreds if anyone but top schools thought they could get him. If he announced his decision to leave Clemson without having another job he's have to retain his agent so his home phone wouldn't ring off the table.
Riley probably has turned away five. Venables probably 15, Scott and Elliot 10 maybe 12.
We haven't heard about it because coaches don't announce offers like players.
You're wondering how anything like that might get by someone like you that keeps up. I wonder why you think you're keeping up.
