What's wrong with XT and Mascoll?

I saw Mascoll miss tackles and never heard XT's name called. I saw true freshman TJ Parker making plays. So.... what's up with our veteran players who are going to NFL? .... are they not very good? Not very smart? Not motivated? What up?

I mean I will only complain about holding if they call holding on us. Refs didn’t really call anything on both teams.

over the past 5 years in not calling holding. It's basically no longer a penalty in the rule book on the line. I find it despicable- it's intentional to make it an offensive game similar to what the NFL has done handicapping DBs with interference penalties

They’re poorly coached by Lemanski Hall. IMO he’s the worst assistant coach on this staff. He reaped the benefits of all the work Marion Hobby did with Ferrell and Bryant in year one. XT was a beast his freshman year because he was led by Ferrell and Bryant. TJ Parker will progressively get worse under Hall. Wait and see.

However, because we didn't recruit an DE that could even challenge him until this year, he's who we got.

I think the complaints about the defense are mostly blown out of proportion. The defense did well for the most part. They got pretty good pressure wirh the pass rush. They didn't get a sack, but mostly that's because Duke was throwing the ball so quickly. They did give up 199 yards rushing, which is bad, but the quarterback was the leading rusher. Basically they did alright against straight up run plays, but couldn't contain the quarterback scrambling.
Put this way. It the offense hadn't blown all those scoring opportunities, I don't think Duke could have moved the ball consistently enough to win.

XT has been a bust since the beginning, coming back for another season won't change that. He has one highlight sack. One.
