At a program like Clemson that has recruited the way it has and the standard that's been set, no fan should be happy at 10 wins in a crap conference. We're not talking about 10 wins in the 80s, 90's or even 2000s.

In general, I agree with you but, if I focus specifically on what I am seeing out of this team right now, I have to kind of check my expectations. With Cade taking longer to develop, and the new offense still finding its way, a 10-11 win season seems more realistic to me.
Personally, I never felt this would be the year for us to go deep and thought next year would be the opportunity for us to click and really be something special. So far, I don't see anything that is showing me a reason to feel differently about this season.
I might feel different if we play really well against FSU and come out with a win.

in the 80s and 90s....it was actually pretty crappy then. 1 wins did mean more bc you only got 12 max but the ACC had a couple of good teams here and there....but it was never murderers row.
Our schedule not looking all that easy right now...but I agree we expect to see championships and 10 wins doesnt get you that.

This is ridiculous. The only team that has a longer streak of winning 10 games than Clemson is Alabama. It’s not easy to do. The year’s schedule now has Florida State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Miami, a decent Duke team, and probably a decent NC State to contend with. The 80s has one decent team each year you had to beat. The 90 was FSU and the 8 dwarves. If we went 10 again this year, I’ll say Dabo did his job.

Just go to the SEC.
At least until Clemson gets there then take you #### poor attitude somewhere else!

If we could win 10 more going forward, with our schedule being what it is, I'd probably take that. And yes, I know that would be 11 wins total, and not 10, but that was my point.

That means beating one of FSU and ND and then running the table against UNC, SC, etc. That's like the absolute best case finish to the season.
Now whether or not be should be happy going 10-2 every year I guess is up for debate.

You'd have to be crazy to take us at 10.5. That would require winning out against a pretty darn tough schedule.
