Weird they dropped that much after a going away quad 2 win at home. But Kentucky got beat down by Ohio State on neutral site, Memphis got beat at home to Miss State, San Francisco lost away at a decent Bradley team. Penn State won on neutral to Drexel. The NET and Kenpom will fluxuate now that teams are playing conference play. Just keep winning...

Was at church yesterday up here and asked a couple of people about the big W over Purdue in bball. They said "we did "... obviously the talk was smu and football. Most say they're waiting for the shoe to drop and they go on a 10 game losing streak.
Point being, it's just like we were the last decade. Could careless about bball, and fully expect come March the team will be an afterthought. I'm shocked they were picked pre-season to finish 16th or 17th in the B1G. They'll shock some people imo.

Most observers now after seeing them play is that Penn State is least top third of BIG team that could get to the Dance. They are a solid team.

spare our other big men and get them a breather or two in high intensity games. In the SC game he was hugely responsible for throwing cold water on their hot streak at the beginning of the game. He changed the way their big men were handling Lahkin and Shef down low. Maybe wasn't' overly dominant from an offensive side but he kept their big men from backing us down in the post and getting those easy shots at that stage of the game. Those two big blocks he had killed their momentum. At 7-2 its hard not to block people. I'd like to see him get comfortable and be part of our bench rotation. Probably at this stage is a liability on offense but its hard to get any confidence on offense when you rarely see the court. Guy needs a game where he comes in and get 12 pts 12 rebs and 4 blocks to kick start him into believing he's a contributor.
