Mid life Dabo going through some things and forgot how to coach. He is surrounded by young and incompetent assistants. #Best is not the standard. #Fall In. #The best is yet to crumb. #negative 110%. #we not ready. #we too weak

Have to get rid of Yes Men and get some contrarians and Alphas in there.

I think it's safe to say that 'everything is on the table', again (per Dabo last year).

We have some malfunctions that as a simpleton I cannot address in whole, and I'm tired of bashing the O-line or whoever tonight.

But yes, we need to look at ourselves in the mirror and be honest. I still have faith in Dabo. I think it's his faith in other Clemson players-turned-coaches that has backfired.

Cough cough - Grisham

Look-we've been through way worse. That's all I can muster at the moment, but I still believe in Dabo and this program. Have to.

Otherwise we are ice-boxxed for 35 years. When one person has faith, it help many others to do the same.

Oh yeah Dabo likes stats and talking about streaks. How about talk the fact that almost every streak has been broken. It’s ludicrous.
Every streak since our run has been broken.
Best is not the standard. Players mess up but can you admit the coaches do as well. Poor team management and chemistry.

Fortunately I watched this game from two time zones away, yet the stench was still in the air even at that distance from the carnage. Let's call this year's team what it is---MEDIOCRE. Forget all the clippings about the fabulous defense, just chewed up by the Miami offensive line. Maybe there has been growth in Klubnik and others on the offense, but what I saw was ordinary except for our tight end who made two spectacular catches.

Despite the stench, but I found this result pleasing in a perverse way. Pleasing because I have decided the only way things will change at Clemson is if Coach Swinney is forced by failure to change his basic vision for Clemson football. I read this evening an article in The Athletic (I think) that analyzed why FSU has had such a turn-around. The author mentioned that 15 of the FSU starters came through the portal, with their coach described in the article as the "master of the portal". Meanwhile, Coach Swinney moves forward just as before, fully aware that his teams are in a gunfight but armed only with knives. His defensiveness verges on pathological. Defeating Clemson is slowly becoming a page 6 story, no more a headline. It is not surprising how much of the Clemson aura has been flushed away by the Swinney stubbornness.

Clemson can't afford a buy-out, but this trend better change or things will get ugly for Coach Swinney with the media and in the stands. It is very tough for any coach who is struggling to deal with a fanbase accustomed to success. Just ask Coach Belichek.

No one can predict what will happen in the coming weeks, but I felt two weeks ago that it was absolutely possible for Clemson to lose to all four of their principal end-of-year opponents, ending the season with 6 losses. Well, I am 1-0, and I am confident more bad news is out there.

We’re gonna be just fine!!! We’re Clemson, we have had so much luck and success. Sometimes the luck goes the other way…. Crappy year but could be worse, at least we ain’t no Coot!!
