Twitter reacts to Clemson's third ACC loss |
Miami (5-2 overall, 1-2 ACC) defeated Clemson (4-3, 2-3) 28-20 in double overtime at Hard Rock Stadium Saturday night.
Check out some of the reactions on social media after the road loss: Clemson has now lost three ACC games in a season for the first time since 2010. Another L for Dabo and Clemson. pic.twitter.com/W1AURaeixI Mind you, this performance came off two weeks to prepare. Clemson's offensive line was bad all night. Running a game needs a full evaluation after that performance. Down goes Clemson against Miami and a freshman quarterback. Tigers have a ton of questions right now. What a brutal play call at the end. Miami beats Clemson pic.twitter.com/SNQtBbdIDT Clemson’s offense has to work for every inch it gets. And it doesn’t get much these days. Hard to explain the sequence at the end. Miami's last victory at home against Clemson came in 1956. Until tonight. pic.twitter.com/DoWgyvlxla Dabo going to fall onto his own sword after the comments he made earlier this week. Easily the lowest the program has been since 2010 & this may not be rock bottom with 5 games left on the schedule. Everything that everyone tried to say about Alabama - a program regressing, dynasty dead, an era over and not coming back - is actually true about Clemson Clemson is now 7-6 in its last 13 games after loss at Miami. Dabo Swinney earlier this week: “Honestly, maybe we need to lose a few games & lighten up the bandwagon. Sometimes the bandwagon can get a little too full” Clemson got physically whipped at the LOS, both sides. Lost to a backup QB with virtually no experience. Couldn't run it and couldn't stop the run despite knowing Miami didn't want to throw it. Like I said after WF, this is an 8-4 type team. Best is the Standard! Best is the Standard! Clemson has been on the opponents 1 yard line and failed to score a single point 5 times this season Miami defeats Clemson for the first time in 13 years 28-20 in OT🥷🏿 pic.twitter.com/SGYEj1bD2k
Oh, and against a QB in his first start.
The Tigers failed to convert from 1st-and-goal at the two-yard line.
Bush push at the goal? Nope, shotgun-- zone-read keeper for Klubnik.
Notre Dame will visit Clemson on Nov. 4.
Worst Fumbling team in the nation
