We'll see what happens but I know I haven't been this excited about football in years.

Penn State? Can they even throw a forward pass against a legit defense?

No doubt that the Tigers will be stacked on offense....

But defense still wins championships at the elite level.... CDS understands this as well as anyone.... Although he was willing to take a short-term risk (coaching and recruiting) within his staff until the "right hire" became available.... in order to maintain continuity and culture....

If you're saying that this ( Although he was willing to take a short-term risk (coaching and recruiting) within his staff until the "right hire" became available) was what Dabo was thinking when he hired Streeter for our OC, and Goodwin as his team DC, I believe that is total horse sh!t even if Dabo himself said that is what he was thinking at the time of those two hires, and I personally do not in any way shape or form believe that is what Dabo was thinking when he made those two hires even if Dabo was to say out of his own mouth that is what he was thinking when he made those hires. He would be lying if he made that omission!!!

Without a thing to back up my belief, I think that Brent Venables was the person that made the suggestion to Dabo about hiring Wes Goodwin as the DC, and Dabo hired Brandon Streeter as our OC bc he thought that Streeter could handle the duties as the OC if given the chance, and that is why he gave Streeter the chance...

Also, it's my opinion that Venables knew that he was leaving Dabo with a very tough situation to try and deal with, and that's why he told Dabo that he believed that Wes Goodwin would make a good DC with knowing the guy had never been an on the field coach in his entire life...

Every single coach in America has to fire guys they hire. How is Dabo any different, other then still winning at a record pace?

IMO Dabo Swinney has been the best head coach that has ever coached our Clemson Tiger FB team, and I'm saying he has been better than all of these Clemson Tiger head coaches from the past.

William M. Williams, John Penton, Shack Shealy, Eddie Cochems, Bob Williams, Frank Shaughnessy, John N. Stone, Frank Dobson, Wayne Hart, Edward Donahue, E. J. Stewart, Bud Saunders, Josh Cody, Jess Neely, Frank Howard, Hootie Ingram, Red Parker, Charley Pell, Danny Ford, Ken Hatfield, Tommy West, and Tommy Bowden...
