I think it riled Dabo up a bit but I don’t think it added anything to the team. That whole thing was personal and not aimed at the team so nothing for them to be upset about.

Well, there are reports this was the toughest most spirited week of practice this year. Something fired someone up, what was it?

The whole sports world heard about Tyler and Dabo's rant, so did the TEAM. Yes definitely Tyler did his job and got their panties and jocks in a twist..
Of course you don't expect Dabo to say yes , it was a motivating factor and Id like to thank Tyler for pissing me off!! lol

I didn't hear every player interview out there but I did watch and listen to several and it was hardly mentioned. A couple said the comments were unfair but nobody was going off like they were really ticked about it. I think Dabo was motivated and the practices were spirited as a result. I could be wrong but there just wasn't a lot of emotion around it from the players, at least not in public. Maybe in the locker room or the building, it was different. But no one mentioned it much in post game interviews either.

A great follow up question would have been, what changes did you make during the week that contributed to todays success?

Yea. We would have gotten killed if it wasn’t for Tyler. Team and coach was all washed up before that. Just ask all the TNet dumpers.

(This should obviously be a joke, btw. Tyler didn't win this game, despite national narrative).

Coot or similar hostile media. His comments hit all the "hate Dabo" bullet points with a fake fan, passive aggressive delivery. Very few real fans I know would bother to bring up details like Dabo's faith in a real fan complaint rant.

Not true. There was an interview on TI. Tyler is a life long Clemson fan that started attending games with his dad when he was five. His family also has a bunch of Clemson graduates. I don’t know the guy but, do know that he is one of us.

When you are 4-4 and playing Notre Dame, you don't need any extra motivation.

Thank you, Dabo. It's time to give Tyler a break. Maybe he was too harsh, but he is a Clemson fan and probably is as glad as anyone to see the Tigers win a big game.

Dabo gave him a break. He said he was sure he was a great guy; not he might be a great guy. I also think Dabo was including himself when he said “We all say things we regret”.

Put Tyler on the back burner! If he is a true Clemson fan he would not act like he did. To many times fans come and go or try to hurt instead of criticism that is constructive. Go Tigers!!!!!!!!!

Of course it did…,he’s not going to admit it. The coaches better and played the best players at their particular position. Clearly, Mafah starting at RB makes the offense more efficient. This way you don’t have to rely on Cade to do it all. The offense has been featuring Cade and Shipley all season and it was a complete failure. Mafah has been the most productive RB all season long but he was not getting more touches than Shipley. The defense played it is D- lineman and stopped featuring Sheridan at CB and went with #20 Terrell. All these changes made Clemson an explosive team team again for the first time this season!

Missed opportunity. Tyler could be a great campaign for the team. Kinda like a mascot for turning negativity into positivity.
We recently moved to Florida and the best part is that ou assistant pastor is a Clemson fan. He told me he know Tyler and as other have said, he is a life long Clemson fan and is still a Clemson fan.
I really have never understood the idea that unless we all get into a rah-rah circle jerk every week that we're not really fans. Tyler was upset about the team's performance. You know what? I say that if you have not been terribly upset by the performance it is probably you that is not the real fan. Real fans get invested in what is happening. Real fans have strong opinions about what is happening with their teams. I have never been in a fan base of any team where "real fans" did not get all bent out of shape about what was happening with their team and then get very vocal about it
