Unfortunately, it is dishonest. Day to day implies an issue that will resolve on the order of days. When it stretches to weeks, it is disingenuous.

Soft tissue knee injuries are impossible to quantify. Ligaments and tendons heal slowly…
Glad Woods did not get surgery! He could have been out all season. Looks like he is walking well. He’ll be back, hopefully for FSU.
He can meet DJU up close and personal….

I'm " guessing" and this would be the best case scenario. PW is able to play but not 100%. Holding him to be fully healthy and ready for Louisville and others. Hopefully, my guess is money. 🙄

Bud Elliott hinted a couple times about a few bigger name players that are on playoff contending teams that he's heard are essentially playing up minor injuries because they aren't happy with their NIL money. It was one DL, one OL, and one WR. There are a lot of big DL names that have been out though. Rueben Bain, Woods, a couple dudes at UGA, and I'm sure there are plenty more. This early in the season with a 12 team playoff there are probably 30 teams you could call playoff contenders.
