I thought academics was one reason. The other being he may be highest rated transfer Clemson has brought in during the portal era. Always thought he was a perfect fit for how Clemson has played in recent years though.

I didnt look at it that way only because I was excited his spot opened up period. He wasnt a 4 star in any way shape or form and wasnt going to have much impact. Duke really missed there.

Think I saw he has the same agent as Davidson. That would be cool!
They actually need his high low partner as a starter. Welling or this guy would fit that need. Then maybe Godfrey as a back up.
