Pretty dadgum good for athletes who only think about money and don't go to class according to the NIL haters on this site. Congrats to all our athletes and the coaches who recruit them and make sure they actually are students. Great job.

I could go 80% and playoffs every year.***

Most fans would be pleased with 0% graduation rate and a national championship every two or three years.

Many schools try that route, but they end up without championships or educated graduates!
Some of their players end up ignorant pros.
Others not so much……

So you wouldn't care about 20% of the players so you can brag about your team?***

I disagree. Some of our brethren have given up their reputations pursuing that kind of thinking.

It is amazing to see so many of our programs reach 100% graduation success rate.

Clemson seems to remember what they are about. Whereas most of football seeks to be NFL-lite, Clemson remembers it is an academic institution to train their students, athletes and non-athletes.

If Clemson can do that while still fielding competitive teams, that is how I define success.
Go Tigers!!! Let’s show the rest of the country how it’s supposed to be done.

Most universities are unconcerned about graduation rates. The NCAA is certainly not concerned with graduation rates. And, most fans are definitely not concerned about graduation rates.

Do you think Kirby Smart is being pressured by anyone to raise the graduation rates at UGA?

Graduation is available, but it is optional, according to the NCAA (which in nothing other than the presidents and boards of those universities).

NCAA gives the clear signal to the coaches, "Just win, baby. Keep that money rolling in."

That's great and a good look for Clemson. Its just too bad that it doesn't really matter in the world of College football anymore. Many times in the past you would hear of a player in Dabo's "Doghouse" for academic reasons. Not really hearing that as an issue these past few years.

Player parents could be won over by that stat. Now they are won over by $$$$!
