All these recruiting updates pretty much mean nothing these days, when a last minute NIL offer can swoop in and totally change a family's mind overnight. Even getting a name on a National Letter of Intent doesn't mean you will get the player at this point in time. And if you GET him, it doesn't mean you are going to KEEP him. Total Free Agency, every single year. It is unsustainable, and will have to be modified at some point to save college football.

Fair point, 2 more years in HS and a good strength building program should get him where he needs to be by the time he is ready for college. And a college strength building program will definitely pack on some lbs...

If he has good hands and willing to block, being small for a TE may mean it want take as much NIL cash to get him

I'm not sure I would call him small for a TE.

Jake Briningstool is 6-6 240
but
Olsen Patt-Henry 6-3 240 class of 2023
Josh Sapp 6-3 225 class of 2022

I think 6-3 205 class of 2025 is right in the ballpark
