Oh boy. Fellas played with a lot of heart and determination.
I imagine DHood has a lot of these [write] ups ready to go on the shelf from previous years...seems it's always the dang three being cold.

b/c UNC (my Dad’s Alma Mater) is extremely serious about round ball and not only spends the $ but has a long history of major recruitment efforts & securing big name HC’s..all of which simply rotates year after year after year.
Believe it or not the Heels use to have pretty great football teams with quality coaches and players including Choo-Choo Justice and for a 10-20 year streak had some of nations best RB’s who even starred in the NFL.
Well, our Tigers have given Heels some competitive games here & there and finally win one in Chapel Hill thanks to…………….wait, ~>

I don’t give Brownell and Company credit for that one in Chapel Hill. First of all, Oliver Purnell had that game won, and the refs stole it from us. Second, the law of probability was on Brownell side, eventually, the odds are so overwhelming against the streak continuing, that some team is going to end it.

That is dumb logic.
So give Tommy B credit for the first ACC Championship or making first CFP.
Law of Averages was on side of Bill Foster, Cliff Ellis, Rick Barnes, Larry Shyatt, and Oliver Purnell too. They did not win.
If you do not like Coach BB just keep it at that.
Would be better to be a fan of Clemson basketball and improve your basketball IQ.

Yup. Einstein is smiling. You’re proving his theory of insanity. Faith in BrownL is insanity. Same results. Year after year. Mediocrity is the standard. I’m sick of it. I want basketball greatness. Not NIT appearances. BrownL even fails to make that lowly tourney.

Two games on a row - cold shooting in 2nd half. Not sure how to fix that. Most coaches and players say you have to shoot your way out of a slump. But there must be more to that. Perhaps something psychological. Or maybe we need to go to shot locations in the 2nd half. When I coached church league (yep, not at all the same as ACC,), we coaches would try to find locations on the from which each player was more successful or less successful, and we would encourage the kids to shoot from certain spots and discourage kids from shooting from other spots. Perhaps too simplistic, but.... Perhaps it is that simple.

It did get him fired from a team that consisted of Lou Cinders, Magic Johnson and some very good all around players.
The System was made famouser when the show "winning time" came out on hbo. Fyi

Clark and Hemenway would make a big difference. UNC has experienced 5 star players and top transfers grabbed from proven programs. Another big would obviously help against UNC. Bacot is happy now because he remembers Hemenway12 putting him on a poster a few years ago.
Seriously. this team needs another spacer on the floor.
So impressed with Sheff who reminds of Tyson last year. He was outrebounding bigger future NBA draft picks.

out-shot, out-hustled, out-rebounded, out-worked, out-talented, out-motivated.
Sign CBB up for 6 more years, make it an even 20 for him to keep use finishing exactly in the middle of the field on average. Clemson is 118-119 under CBB in ACC play.

Tired legs ...... guess a hangover from the Miami game. Many of the 3's were short which normally suggests tired legs. We played pretty well on defense and that took a lot out of them toward the end of the game. The bottom line is that they were just better on this particular day ...... and maybe any other day.

Well like I said after the Miami loss, if you want to keep the causal basketball fan you really needed to win today. You can see it everywhere on social media sites that all the good will earned the first part of the year is evaporating. I know this, you better not lat an egg against VT or the fire Brownell crowd will be out in full force. How many 3s do you have to miss before you tell the guys take a step in? I know the mantra of shooting yourself out of a slump but that mindset gets you beat when the slump doesn't end.

At what point does a coach realize you’re throwing bricks for 3’s and just drive the ball to the rim. 1-18 from 3 point range ?

Didn't get to watch the game, but it seems it's more of the same. Start off the season with some good wins, but get into conference play and it's the same old same old.
