I was worried the Army Black Night parachutist missing the stadium with our flag was a bad omen.

And they filmed a scene for one of the Police Acadeny movies at halftime. Don’t remember which movie.

Any way. All’s well that ends in a Tiger victory.

Yep, that was crazy. The paratrooper went directly over our seats as he headed towards the river. It was a nasty weather day.

The Gator Bowl was a tale of 2 halves, for sure. I shot the game for The Tiger and my best memory was having beers in the press box post game with Wayne Weaver and other Jax bigwigs, just a buncha country boys drinking beers out of a big garbage can.
