I have to agree. Clemson no longer even has a college of textiles, just a concentration. Perhaps “engineering bowl”

Your not from around here are you son...back in the 20 to 90's and still even today they are some textile plants left in operation...but the major of this area in the south was clothed and fed by good people working in those plant ...There's somethings about history that should not be changed just because you don't appreciate the sacrifices these people made is no reason to just change thing because you don't follow history...

LOL! Dabo is stretching here. Does anyone even call it that any more and the rest of the country doesn't care.

The game wasn't even picked up recently by the division less ACC as an annual protected game.

yep people in India, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Bangledesh, etc. Places where all our textiles are made now.

Anyway, I say keep the name. Clemson and NC State have a lot,of similarities. Land grant institutions. Engineering. Textiles. Farming. Stuff people have needed and always will,need.
