I hope he gets that 2nd year. He seems like he is just coming into his own.

I hear you and I hope he gets the exception for the 2nd year, but I’d prefer that he still goes pro after 1 because he’s absolutely unstoppable next year as the missing ingredient! 😏

Interesting take. It feels like WR is one of our lower positions of need, but we did just lose a few guys, so I should probably look at the roster first.

Love to hear the enthusiasm. Much better story than some mercenary choosing the highest bidder.

Hopefully this breaks the seal for some more high end talent to come aboard. After this recruiting season, we absolutely have to gain more from the portal than we lose to compete at a top 10 level.

Really excited for this kid's opportunity here.

Can you imagine the sea change as far as strength, conditioning, nutrition, and developmental tools a place like Clemson can offer versus a community college or the FCS program he's coming from?

"I ate a lot of food" says it all.

Welcome home, Tristan!

Go Tigers!

Good read, glad it worked out for him. Based on where he has played I think he will really appreciate the opportunity he has here and the facilities we have. Welcome aboard Tristan, hope to see you pull down some 50/50 balls and get a 2nd year of eligibility.

We haven't had this body-type guy since Tee. Not sure we all realize how much of our offense in the glory years was just waiting until someone took on Nuk/Martavis/MW/Tee one and one and then throw them a jump ball. Maybe we can get that back.

Dacari Collins (remember him from the 2021 season) was this body type.

Really looking forward to watching this guy play next season!
We can never have too many talented and hungry WRs who want to show what they can do. It's a great replacement for Stellato.
Welcome to Clemson Tristen!

I definitely agree with you on that. This kid is walking on the clouds and never dreamed someone would believe in him. Too bad he can't go to Texas for the atmosphere. But can you imagine the tailgate he'll have Saturday. All his buds be like "that's you next year bruh ".

Yep, here comes our next 3rd and Renfrow!!! Give me a dozen kids with his attitude and we'll have a natty.

I was thinking the same thing. He sounded beyond grateful for the opportunity he’s been given. Hope he does great things.

Good Article. Wish he could somehow make it to Texas but fingers crossed we succeed with current WRU.

If he works out, he could give us a true 50/50 ball receiver for fades. We do not currently have a WR like him on the roster. Moore and Wesco have some height. But at about 6'3 and 6'2, they don quite have the height or ability to high point. They are fluid route runners, but not 50/50 ball guys. Antonio is maybe our best WR, but he is 5-10. Let's see what this kid can do.
