Pigskin Prophet: Wild and wooly in Columbia edition

Thank goodness that football season is here. If you’re tired of all the serious talk and political accusations, you’ve come to the right place. No seriousness allowed around here! Full Story »

Thirteen points?!?

Sep 10, 2020, 1:12 PM

Only if the Tiger D is feeling generous.

I don't think so. It's Unleash the Kraken time.

52-6.

Tigers will be politically correct and won't show disrespect to Wake's helmets out of fear of being admonished by the media.
Tigers...38-3

Dabo will be the only thing holding this scoring number back. After all, we do need to give all our substitutes some experience. Thank God hootie still isn't our "coach". He could make this a close loss.

I didn’t make it past the opening political monologue.

Oh my gosh just what the doctor ordered! Pigskin Prophet returns us to some sense of normalcy. We might just be ok. Now let’s play football!

Funny stuff. I especially appreciated his analysis of Cuse and his brilliant observation on the FSU OL.

And, like most of y'all, I don't think Wake gets into double digits.

Outstanding opener, "Prophet", ,but I must say the Clemson game should be a laugh'r. Clemson will stomp the "Deamon Deacons"", or the "Tarheels", or the "game biddies", or the Mighty Irish", etc. They are no match for these TIGERS! Bring on the winner of the secheat, and we can settle this, once and for all! When they grow up, they want to be CLEMSON TIGERS!!!!!!

Miss ya, Dad

Sep 10, 2020, 10:39 PM

Glad to have Pigskin Prophet back, but it's bittersweet. For what feels like years now, my dad and I would share and discuss the latest from PP every week of the season. Well he passed away this week and I felt the need to finally create an account here to post and say that I'll continue to read and think of my dad with each new entry in the weekly column. Go tigers!

Very sorry to hear about your Dad. He will continue to be with you throughout your life. I'm 67 and continue to have a relationship with my father who passed away many years ago. Go Tigers!

Do we paint the statue orange or purple and orange? Or do we just put corn around it for the pigeons?

“Crump is no longer paying me in Burger King coupons because he says they’re too expensive to buy. Instead, he bought me some South Carolina season tickets. Anybody got a wide angle lens for my photo with a big chicken?” The Prophet IS BACK!!! Thank you!!!
