That college Playbook has always been the butt kicker for elite HS players coming in. Guys like Bresee that most of us thought would come in and play, the playbook is usually their butt kicker that causes them to see most of early to mid season games from the side lines unless it's a game that the starters have put a game out of reach for the opposing team!!!
Maybe prior players that didn't make it in the NFL, could come back and work as tutors of the playbook for freshman that come in and start school in January. Could that be done as a graduate GA, and how many GA's is a team allowed to have?
It just seems there should be a better and faster way to teach the incoming freshman the playbook, so that guys like a Bresee that is physically ready to play, but is held back bc of their lack of knowledge of the college playbook....
