According to my sources that are very close to the situation he's a Clemson lock. HOWEVER they do expect him to be drafted in the upcoming MLB draft and going that route if it's the right opportunity. Id say right now there's about a 30% chance he actually ends up at Clemson playing Football.

Man, it's just a hunch, but I REALLY like this guy. I really hope he chooses Tiger Town. The multi-sport stars are always fun, and this guy seems to have a lot of raw athleticism and arm talent that other recent Clemson QBs have lacked. Plus, this dude has a great frame and build. He looks like a grown man already. Again, respectfully, that's something you can't really say as much about Cade, Vizzina, or Hebert. I know some folks aren't impressed by the 3-star rating, but we've seen how flukey the star rating system can be. I just think this guy's gonna be really good and I hope Clemson can land him. You know A&M and Miami are probably chucking cash at him like he's a stripper.

But these baseball guys almost always end up picking the easy guaranteed money and going to the MLB draft instead of going to college and playing football. And then even if they do make it to campus, best case scenario is still missing all of spring practice playing baseball (ie Kyle Parker). The more likely scenario is that they play one season and then go to the MLB draft before they ever see the field in football.
And then we wasted a precious roster spot, recruiting time and resources, and maybe also a whole lot of coaching time and development on a guy that never plays for our team. It’s very costly and on our program. And yet Dabo never seems to learn this lesson. You’d think he would have learned it with Bubba Caldwell…
Again, I hope I’m wrong and he chooses football and becomes a star for us. I just don’t really like the odds of that happening and would rather focus on guys who are all in on football.

Draft so he'd at least have the opportunity to play both sports.
I'm curious though why he hasn't had any contact with the baseball staff. Bakich is a top tier recruiter and even he was only lukewarm on the prospect I'm sure he'd show interest if only even to help the football teams' cause. I wonder what the rest of that story is.
