Interesting about the NC State DB that has never given up a touchdown. That’s a great motivating factor for practice this week. We should rotate fresh guys on him all day to test that out.

I was thinking the very same thing right after I read that bit of information about Aydan White. But I was thinking that we should run some of our faster receivers at him the entire time through the first and maybe part of the 2nd quarter making them think that Wesco may have had an injury keeping him out of the game to the point that he looks up and sees Wesco lined up on his side of the field. I think that White's first thoughts will be that we put Wesco as a means to maybe draw double coverage, but they don't fall for it, and we run Wesco right past a tiring White with the ball in the air by the time that Wesco runs past him. I think that it would end with White suffering from having Wesco scoring the first TD against him and his tired legs...
With WR's like Moore and Wesco, it opens up all sorts of thing that our coaches could run against other teams that just don't have much game film on. Use them for those types of plays for as long as can get away with it, and by that time those two WR's will have much more game experience along with adding Williams, Brown, Randall, Stellato, Turner, Briningstoo, and maybe Bentancur when he gets the play book down, and that's my biggest reason for hating it when I hear that some of our really talented players want be be enrolling until mid-summer/fall.
When looking at all the talent that we have at the receiver position that can be trusted to throw the ball to, this team is absolutely loaded with receiver talent that can be game changers in every game we have left on our schedule.
Also, with having all that receiver talent, our chances with one or more of those guys having a hot hand in every game that we play will be high. My hopes for this year's team with our awesome bundle of receiving talent that we have is that at least one and hopefully more will have games where their talent allows them to light it up against any team that we play against throughout our entire FB season including post season play...
Go Tigers, beat them all by beating them down one game at a time giving the talking heads their biggest challenge ever of how they will twist their stories in an attempt to keep Clemson FB out of the bright lights from overriding the SEC myths of how everything SEC is bigger, stronger, and faster with Clemson looking right in their faces while they're attempting to tell their lies about their mighty S E C!!!

We need to be very impressive offensively in this game. If this resembles the struggles we've seen the last 4 years, then the optimism from the Appst game is out the window.

I'm hoping what we saw last game will carry over, and even improve, from last game. If we see that, we'll know that we have fixed some issues. I expect us to pick up where we left off last game, and I won't be surprised to see more offensive production and a defense that shuts the pack down. Hope we put it all together, and keep it that way the rest of the season. +1

I think the light finally came on with the offensive players and staff. There were too many perfect plays last game for it to be a fluke. If we put up over 40 points on nc st, we will know for sure.

I personally think that we have a couple of issues that needs upgrades, and I believe we'll need for them to be corrected before winning it all again, but I still have faith that Dabo will get it all fixed and we'll be on our way to greatness one more time, and when Dabo sees that his team needs a couple more adjustments, he will make them and he will have learned a very valuable lesson from his mistakes and his team will hang around at the top of the hill the same as Saban did it at Bama!!!

Just do your best to forget about the past 3-4 years. This is a new story about a different Clemson team of 2024. Nothing covers a bleak past like winning, and if you doubt my words just look back to the 1981 season and a couple of years after Danny Ford was fired. Our Clemson Tigers quickly fell from the top, and it was gloom and doom from about 1983/4 until 2011 that equaled 28 very long years with only small increments of success under Tommy Bowden where he took Clemson to a bowl game every year with the exception of 2004 after the brawl between Clemson and coot players, and both schools withdrew their teams from consideration of an invitation to appear in a bowl game.
Tommy Bowden resigned from his H C-ing position on October 13, 2008 after a very disappointing 3–3 start of the first 6 games of the season with only 1 ACC win of 3 ACC games when we were expected to win the ACC with a #9 ranking at the start of the season before everything fell apart for Bowden as the Clemson FB HC.
After Bowden resigned from his position as Clemson's FB HC, Dabo was appointed as the Clemson interim HC for the remainder of that season in 2008, then he was given his very first ever H C-ing job without ever being a coordinator at any level of FB bc at that time I personally believe that it was never intended for Terry Don Phillips to ever hire a new HC with quality H C-ing experience even though he did have a few HCs to come in and interview for vacated H C-ing job, but like I've said I don't believe there was any intentions on the part of Terry Don Phillips or the B O Ts to do anything but allow Dabo to resume the H C-ing responsibilities until maybe after Dabo finished the 2008-2009 season, but I don't believe anybody had any faith in Dabo doing anything other than failing miserably with the exception of a very few and I was one of those few that felt he deserved a fair chance after his his first ever time of being a HC he didn't do that bad with a 3-3 team that an experience HC had already failed miserably with.
With Dabo going through the motions as a first time HC in 2009 he actually didn't do that bad of a job with what he had to work with bc when Bowden resigned, I think we had a really good recruiting class committed to come with CJ Spiller being one of those commits, but we lost half or better than that class with Tajh Boyd and Dabo talked CJ into staying for his senior season, and with what Dabo was able to save of that huge recruiting class come to be known as the dandy dozen. But anyway Dabo shocked a lot of people including Terry Don Phillips with his first full season as a brand new HC with winning 9 games with winning the bowl game 2009.
2010 was a rocky season for Dabo in his 2nd full season as a HC, but as we know it has been cake and ice cream from then on that led him to appearing in 6 playoff games, 4 national championship games winning 2 of the 4 against what was know as the best team and HC in all of college FB in Bama and Nick Saban. When the truth is being told, Dabo has our fan base so spoiled rotten that we will cry, pisss, and moan about a 9 win season. Anybody, everybody, it don't matter who it is that wants to keep up the crying, pisssing, moaning, or talking #### about Dabo to an extent to be questioning other T-Netters/Clemson fans who do they think we should hire after running the man off that actually made Clemson one of the top elite teams in the country. I don't and I have never wanted Dabo leaving Clemson, believe it or not, but I personally feel that Dabo has another elite run in him as the HC of Clemson FB. Go Dabo, Go Tigers!!!!

I want the name the defense adapt and control the l.o.s. I'm not sold yet on coach Wes. They may be schematically good, but I miss Boulware and Carson. They knew what the opposing QB was going to do and directed the defense as the play started

Wes has done a decent job with keeping highly talented players on the defense and knowing that I'm not and never have been sold on Wes as a really good defensive coach or coordinator. I feel as soon as he'll have to coach players up to keep our defense running at a championship level, we'll all see what kind of defensive COACH that he really is, and IMHO, I don't think he has the right DNA and a strong forceful demeaner in his DNA to be anything like the defensive coach/coordinator that we had with Brent Venables. Don't blame the messenger for him not having the right DNA to be the coach that BV was, blame the folks that gave him his DNA, and that isn't something that can be taught, your true DNA is something that you can only be born with that comes from one of their parents that had the very same DNA that BV had. There will never be a time when a get back coach will be needed on the side lines to keep Wes off the field and out of the faces of the referee's faces, never will we see that with Wes Goodwin!!!

confidence is "so much more important" than many realize.

If you "see it work". If you get to enjoy the fruit of your labor once/twice to where "you have no doubt" it changes everything.
Perhaps you run that route full speed because you know; it's just a matter of time before "it's the real deal"! But, the DB has gotten lazy and has started peeking in the backfield.
Before seeing it work for real; you had doubts in the back of your head. Until, BANG! You see it manifest itself on the field.
All that to say - I hope the offense can continue improving and gaining much needed confidence against NCSU.
