Brownell was only successful because he was coaching for his job this year. Now he has already "doing the minimum" by farming off his recruiting duties to Dabo. At least we can give him credit for recognizing that Dabo is far better than he is at being a head coach.
Brownell will now slide back into .500 for the season and stealing pay checks from Clemson.

Personally, looks pretty good but a little too similar to other PF commit Steinour from NC.
Really wanted 4 star PF Mikey Wilkins who was going to have an official this coming weekend, but committed to NC State the other day. Might like top 150 Tre Singleton better from Indiana who is visiting Oct. 4th
About the comment on Coach Brownell, how can you say with who is coming back and the good transfers and recruits he is one year wonder?
Why did ESPN make Kentucky at Clemson the marquee game on Tuesday night oof the ACC - SEC Challenge? Because they know Clemson just like Kentucky is supposed to be really good.

Brad is luckier that the portal came along bc before the portal he couldn't get any elite HS players to look at Clemson as being a future home. IMO the portal is what opened that door for Brad Brownell to build a team that could win at the higher levels of basketball. I really hope that the portal recruiting can help Brad continue to bring in players that he can win with!!!

When the dadgum football coach is beating our basketball recruits, I fear that we will not get back to the NCAA tourney in the future. It was a good ride while it lasted boys.

Disappointed a grown man would beat up on a young kid like that. I expected better out of Dabo. Good luck getting this young man to sign with us now.

May be that the young man gave Dabo and advantage. That would be something that I would expect happened than Dabo beating the kid straight up, but, if Dabo did beat him straight up, he surely isn't someone that Brad needs to bring in for our BB team...
