Why do you consistently use some of the most ridiculous pictures of people you are writing about? Have some respect for them and the access you are being granted to cover the team. It’s not that difficult.

I had that same reaction and expression after I saw they used that picture.

Agree. Something you'd see in a trash tabloid rag.

I like the photo because I make that same face around here. Makes him seem more like your every day kind of a guy.

If the OL can be noticeably better, our team as a whole should be too.

Agreed. Hopefully Cade starts seeing his open receivers. I think he was a little nervous bc of early pocket collapses. He would still be panicking when they did block well.

I just want to see much more consistency from the OLine. The offense is only going to be as good as the offensive line.
Go Tigers!!!

I remember saying last season that our biggest problem on the offensive side of the ball was inexperience coaching on the O line. I was so glad that people couldn't skin, tar and feather, or kill people through the internet bc if they could, with me saying something negative about one of our X Clemson FB players and a Clemson grad, I would have been skinned, tared and feathered, then killed. IMO there isn't nothing wrong with being inexperienced for a job, but you should never take on a job in something that you know you will have to perform at a high level, and most that do fail miserably...

I don't think that Matt has had enough time to teach our O line everything they need to know, but they will play with more confidence with what he has taught them bc they will see their results...

There was plenty criticism of Austin and both Grisham last year

Not sure what delusional world you were in where you thought your opinion was the minority.

You may be right. I have always been vexed with how AUstin did not work out after playing for Robbie, coaching elsewhere and understudying him for a couple of years. Yet it just didnt work

Good players don't always make good coaches...

To a great degree, playing can be very instinctive, so it's one thing to go out and do it, but it's another matter entirely to teach someone else how to do it.

I'm sorry, but I'm not buying any of the coach speak regarding the offensive line until I see it on the field.

Last year we heard about how there were 10+ guys who could see significant snaps for us and how the offensive line was going to be so improved and yet they were still slow, unathletic, and couldn't win at the point of attack.

I'll eat big steaming piles of crow and sing Luke's praises when I'm wrong (because I do think he will fix the issues) but until then I'm not buying any of it.

My opinion is of the "wait and see" variety. Dabo told us last year the offensive line was going to be good and they were not. I'd love it so much if I was proven wrong, I've had plenty of bad takes over my years as a Tiger fan--but I'll assume we will look the same until I see otherwise.

I hope he can get it done in one season, but here at Texas it probably took a couple of seasons to see really a lot of improvements. Shame on us for having Tom Herman as head coach and before that having PC hire Charlie Strong. The OL was crap for years and that even goes back to the Mack Brown years.
I think our OL coach, Flood, really got the OL going strong by the middle of his second year. I hope for your sake that Luke has it improved and whipped into shape in just one. You do have more talent and bodies than we did going in, so there's that. Our OL had 4 freshmen playing that 2nd year under Sark. You have a more experienced and talented group right now than we had 3 years ago.

I think it could be a different story if the coaches time that they can spend with their players wasn't so short, they could get a lot more done in just one season. I would be ok with the coaching time with the student athlete being as much as they could get them together in groups. I think that the better prepared they are in the right way, there would be less injuries...

I'll reserve judgement until we see what the OLINE does on GameDay. I knew that if any coach was able to turn the from a group of tomato cans to a serviceable unit...it would be Coach Luke. Any improvement over last seasons performance would be a plus. If the OLINE can hold their own against UGA, that would be great and ensure a victory. GO TIGERS!! BEAT THEM DAWGS!! Bring it on. Expecting play to improve at Center and all positions over 2022-23.
