McCain was a RINO that was a part of the establishment. His military career was highlighted because he was a POW, but he was privileged from the very beginning with his Navy career due to his father.
As for the fake charity thing, that is incredibly off base as well. As the Trump foundation has given more than any charity of any political candidate in the history of the United States. Moreover, Trump is the ONLY president to lose net worth by being president. Most have a $400k/yr job and turn it into hundreds of millions. I make over $400k/yr, but I do not have a house in the Hamptons like the Obamas. So, I will trust the president that loses money by becoming president more than the one that made 100 million dollars by doing it. Be smarter.

I retired from military in 2018 after 33 years, so I didn't reap from Trump's so called benefits. My daughter joined in 2016 & is still in, so I've kept up with what the President(s) does for the military, so please expand on your comment.
I don't know how old you are or when you went through boot camp, but, my time in was spent with a lot of people from different backgrounds. And I think we can "read" people better than most people can due to the cultural diversity we endured. I've never met Trump, but these generals have.
Long story short, Trump is a narcissist and has mental issues.
Study up on the Jan 6 Capital attack from the commission.

My problem is this, can the Republican party not come up with someone better than Trump? Again, I voted for him twice. But, Jan 6 (among other things) is not a good look.

Trump opposition has been plenty vocal on Tnet going much further back than four years ago. I stay away from that board also, but the politics talk regularly spills over to the football board.
In January 2019 the football board was riddled with negative posts on Trump all over his buying fast food (during a government shutdown) to feed the then National Champion Clemson Tigers football team during the visit to the white house.
