I don’t think it’s about the game time lol … it’s a lot of other factors that go into us not wanting to work with the acc, like the GOR stuff… and the fact they can say we aren’t working to maximize the value for the conference and espn … why doesn’t that go both ways when our spring game hasn’t been nationally televised the last couple years when we have held up this conference for 10+ years, why are baseball games rarely on when we were a top 5 team. Many other reasons but I don’t feel like the relationship between Clemson and and acc is repairable honestly.

College football should be played on Saturdays - not Thursday, Friday, or Monday. I hate it when we play on Labor Day night. And the Thanksgiving weekend with students gone home for the holiday, Saturday is just better for us fans. Screw the ACC and ESPN.

agreed to it. It’s one of the best slots that weekend and as long as both teams have Sat games the week before. Never hosted a Friday game and wouldn’t want us to on a non holiday weekend but this would be perfect in my opinion. the other state rivalries have taken turns at doing this or forced to Thanksgiving l(which I would be against). Much preferred over noon slot on a secondary ESPN channel that we are likely destined for with the other SEC and ACC matchups that weekend. We’re not going to be asked in the future whether it be FOX or ESPN

Based on family splits etc that is always more of a 2/3 to 1/3 type game with the fanbases regardless of where the game is at vs say when we play an FSU or UNC and the crowd at home is 85-90% Clemson. I don’t think most Clemson season tix holders would have a problem making a night game on Friday vs a rando time game on sat announced 6 days in advance. Most people I know avoid the stores on Friday - it’s either online- cyber Monday or another day. I know I’m watching football that day whether it be Clemson or other games. I’ll bet coot fans coming to Clemson prefer a day game on Sat vs Friday night. Would probably bump up the home vs visitor ratio on Friday. They don’t like coming to Clemson at night - too much of a hassle.

Clemson is worse than South Carolina. Whoever blocked moving game to Friday after Thanksgiving needs fired. It if was Dabo he needs fired. I know AD needs deported. Should actually be moved to Thanksgiving. If AD had pair and brains would stay in ACC until contract over.

Clemson could care less about your disappointment. We will continue to do what is best for us and our future since the ACC and ESPN could care less.
You may want to focus any strong arm tactics on the new members since they are the newbies.
Be advised that Clemson will be leaving the conference sooner than you think and after to G.O.R. falls on it's face you can try to explain how that's working out.
Now that the NCAA caved to the Money Monster Clemson has no other choice to get their share of the pie.

I’m sure it is because people from the Pee Dee who spent the day traveling to see Mee Maw and Pee Paw for Thanksgiving will be too tired to make it to Clemson, and we don’t want to inconvenience them, so the game has to be Saturday instead.

In these times some Clemson fans have to travel to share the Thanksgiving meal with their loved ones. Others visit Clemson fans for that weekend. Nothing is more rude to company than leaving them at your house alone while you spend half a day at a football game. That says 'I love you,' to one of your children, 'less that I love a football game.'
Times have changed, not all a man's kids live on some corner of the family farm now-a days.

So it's not clear to me did Clemson agree to the other changes like The Citadel game (Military Appreciation) for a nooner? OK by me if they didn't because I despise noon games but if CU turned it all down then look for them to put the game on the ACCN at 8pm or give it to the CW.

I think Clemson screwed up Gere. They should have engaged in a negotiation. If we split any extra revenue generated for the time slot with tbe Chickens. Tradition is a thing of the past. Sorry, but I think old school thinking is great, but failure to.embrace change is narrow minded and will eventually lead to epic failure. Dabo and Neff better figure for Clemson's sake!!

What about the people who have already booked hotel rooms and made travel plans based on the day of the game? They've already invested hundreds or thousands of dollars based on a Saturday game. It's bad enough you can't plan around the game time, now they're wanted to move the actual day of the game after it has already been published as bing on a Saturday.
