Just a rumor. Dabo does not pursue people that are committed to other schools unless they ask to be pursued. I seriously doubt this one. Why would he come here and sit for at least 2 years??

Clemson won’t stop recruiting him unless he tells them to stop and being committed to another school doesn’t mean he’s told them to stop. You are conflating Dabos policy that once a recruit commits to Clemson he should cancel all other visits otherwise he will be viewed as non-committed and that scholly could be snagged by someone else.

You are incorrect. The staff absolutely stops “actively” recruiting players that commit to other schools. They turn their attention to other prospects. Now if said prospects reaches back out and continues to show interest in Clemson then our staff does not consider said prospect to be truly committed to that school. But name a big time prospect we flipped? I can’t think of one.

committed elsewhere that was a direct decommit to commit to Clemson. Please give a couple examples or more. Etienne is one that comes to mind of decommitting of his own volition, and Clemson got involved when Cordarrian Richardson had the academic issues and Clemson dropped his commitment because of the academic fraud...
I'm generally interested to know who we may have directly flipped.

I don't remember his name but last year a DB from GA decommitted from Wake and committed to us as did Jarvis Green, who decommitted from James Madison.

I heard from a reliable source that both Dabo and Saban told Lagway the truth ....... if he plays there will be plenty of NIL money. Apparently Florida told him something different and he made his choice. I haven't heard anything different to this point.

247 does have them currently at #3 but only 1 offensive skill player inside the top 200 and that’s an athlete. Outside of Lagway. There best committed WR to date is at #237. All of their committed offensive linemen are way down the list with first one at #674.
Lagway might be realizing we have a much better offensive class right now and if we get a few higher rated Olinmen and Matthews it just might flip him.
