Trouble with Notre Dame fans and Pork and Beans?

I was not able to make it to the game Saturday but wish I had. Not only did we beat down some Golden Domers, but I also got word from several close associates that Notre Dame fans are weird and generally suck.

I had two different people sitting in entirely different sections mention that the Notre Dame fans were sneaking in cans of Pork and Beans into the game, in addition to their mini bottles. Did anyone else experience this? Those who told me of their experiences on Saturday night could not believe that those fatties were willing to sneak CANS of pork and beans into the soaking wet Death Valley enviros to munch on while they watched their team get manhandled.

I wish I were BSing this as much as I want to verify that these people were willing to stoop that low.

Why would someone sneak pork and beans into the stadium? Is this a weird tradition I'm missing?

I honestly don't think it's funny that they were allowed to bring those in. What if they had used the lid as a weapon?

I didn't have any problems with them but the few I talked to were strange acting people.

Isn't winning enough? Why do some of you feel the need to denigrate the fans as well. FWIW, the fans I talked with were polite, pleasant, and proud of their school and team.

Pork and beans...half pork, half beans...pork.....

Pork comes from pigs...Porky the PIG....an...animal...

PORKY's was a great movie just like ANIMAL house....hmmmm

Animal house brings us knowledge of who bombed Pearl Harbor.

Notre Dame fans are Germans.

Coincidence? I think not.
