I couldn't listen to more than a couple of minutes of Dabo's presser, apparently, he saw a much different game than a lot of us did. The most glaring stat that sticks out to me is the 267 rushing yards on the ground with a 6.4 yard average when just a couple of seasons ago that would have been completely unheard of by Clemson defense.

Coot QB Sellers by himself runs for 163 when very few RB's has a day like that especially when it's against two power 5 teams. But just last week against the Citadel gained 288 yards on the ground. Everybody has an opinion of their own, my opinion is that we have a serious problem with our defense allowing that many yards rushing two weeks back to back...

The only blame for this loss is only on Wes Goodwin, the offense and Cade done enough to win the game, the D didn't do its job to prevent the loss, and that's all that needs to be said, and if Dabo tries to put it on anything else (and I've never said anything like this before) maybe he should be given a long look as the HC. Every single person that saw any of this game saw that this D could not stop one player, the coot QB and he was totally surrounded several times and he simply got away out running and dodging our D players like it was a personal game for him!!! If Dabo puts this loss on anything other than the truth, he should be put on he hot seat at least. Nobody would hate losing him any worse than I would, but he must face the truth, and the offense scored enough points to win the game if the D would done their job and T-Netters that is the truth, and our HC must face it!!!

I disagree. The offense only put up 14 points. That doesn't win many football games these days. Defense let up 2 tds on two broken plays. Yes that needs to be addressed but the offense didn't score

I agree. The offense couldn't even get a first down (twice) to help the defense at the end. 14 points isn't enough to win many games.

South Carolina was by far the 2nd best team we played all year and the game was always going to be close. The only real issue I have is the last pass to Mafah when I thought we should have gone to the endzone twice. If we were not going to the endzone, just let Cade run, call time our and try to tie. Is that on Cade or Riley? Flip a coin, but you can't throw an Int.

Personally….im done with this team for this year. Hope Miami beats the living #### out of Syracuse because we surely don’t deserve a spot in the ACC Championship game.
Tired of a vanilla, static, conservative and predictable Offense and a Defense that can’t get out of its own way and looks like a bunch of stumbling bumbling idiots trying to make arm tackles.
But…..as the Coots always say ….”there’s always next year”….😩 🖕🏼

You can't spend what u don't have. Our NIL collectives weren't supported enough by our fan base to buy the impact players in the portal or on the recruiting trail. Rev share will allow us to compete with anyone & honestly if 9 wins is our worst season we should probably be grateful. We aren't that far off but the last few years have been disappointing after a dominate run that should have had atleast 3 nattys. Go Tigers!!!!

We played inspired football. After the botched reverse Riley was too predictable and Cade missed a few easy throws. Playing man on 3rd & 16 was an awful decision by Wes and we were in great position to get a stop. Not sure if we make the fg but I sure wish Cade threw that ball away. Tough loss. Go Tigers!!!

Unlike the Tommy Bowden immitators of the past three seasons, this team actually looked on the verge of greatness at times this year. And then we lose badly to Louisville AFTER A BYE TO HEAL UP AND WATCH MORE FILM. WHAT? Then we let The Citadel run the ball down our throats, but we still won. And against the chickens we do not score again after Cade’s TD run with 10 minutes left in the third quarter. How many times this year has our offense just shut down in possession after possession? Our defense did a good job today until they could not stop S.C. on third and long when we KNEW who was going to run the ball. Sellers made us look like fools. And my guess is we did not even try to recruit this kid, who led Florence to a state championship and put up incredible numbers all year. But hey, Miami lost, so we still get to play for the ACC title. Talk about backing into a championship game! But we’ll take it. Still hurts to lose a game we shoulda won today in Death Valley, especially against the chickens.

It seems to me that when we go conservative, seeking not to lose rather than to win, we give up the momentum and fall short. We have played far better defense in a 4-3-4 than a 4-2-5 all year, and we gave them the game by letting them run on us to protect against the long ball. We will play a similar team in SMU, and we cannot make those mistakes again.

Totally disagree with this post. We did not go conservative for one. Sellars can’t throw the ball so we were not giving up the run to protect against the long ball. Yes we had a hard time with tacking Sellers and should have done a better job there, but it’s not like they scored a lot on us, remember they only had 17. Finally SMU can throw the ball and they are nothing like Carolina. Cade made a crucial mistake by throwing that football there at he end. It was a pass that should have never been thrown and it killed us.

We have another chance here now to win the ACC championship. I for one am a true Tiger Fan and I will always believe we will win. This is no different we will beat SMU.

The offensive line is banged up, so there is more of an understanding as to why the offense is having some struggles. The defense on the other hand has simply been getting worse and worse against the rin game. Overall, the defense has been on a decline sense we lost V. We had a lot of talent there that could cover up some of the issues, but without some of that top talent it is showing more cracks. It could be time to start thinking about a new Coordinator to help this get turned around.

This is spot on. You can spread the blame like mayo on a tomato sandwich. I have no words to express how ugly tackling is. And its not just a one game anomaly. Its week in week out. Play calling is equally baffling. Keeping Brown out the most important quarter??? Keeping Maffa in??? Giving Cade the option to check off on the game ending play. QB play is just as confusing. Great, bad, great, bad. Its Dr Jekyll Mr Hide on steroids. Offense against good teams can't score on a free hooker. In my opinion, its the offensive woes, several years of it, that ruined this game. Everyone want's Wes gone, and I don't entirely disagree, but good gosh almighty!! If this unit can't score at least get some first downs. Give your D a rest for gods sake. I will say, for my eye's, the o line is the most improved group on this team. Credit that and Matt Luke for the offense having more success this year. At least against inferior opponents. Its not blocking that's causing most three and outs. Those seem to be on #2 or PC.
Either Dabo is too involved in the PC or Riley "ain't" it. If I were the HC, I'd show Riley the door, promote Luke to that job and keep my nose out of his business. But something tells me at least the latter won't happen.
