They want to convince you we should be happy to be 6-1 now because they state we were predicted to lose 2 or 3 games this year. Best was not the standard last night and losing to a 3-3 team we were favored by 22 isn't a reason to pump sunshine. Hey pumper, it ain't about having a loss. Rather it is how we lost and who we lost to. Plus on top of it we killed our QB because of substandard coaching and worse yet the coaches haven't learned this based on their comments.

I don't think anybody trying to convince disgruntled people like of anything. I think it is possible Clemson could lose more games this year so you might want to stop being a fan if you angry about 1 loss.

Cuse played LSU and NCSU tough on the road. You are so focused on it being Syracuse and not seeing they have a very good QB, WRs and coach.
What is the point in playing the games if the team that you think 'should' win always wins?

and losing to them by 3 up there isn't a horrible loss. The losses by Oklahoma and Wash. St. were horrible losses.
But ClemBert is right; we still should have won this game. We have better talent all over the field. And we could have won it if we had put our best healthy QB on the field when we needed points. It's reasonable to be frustrated by that... and it's reasonable to express that frustration here.

I think it is unresonable to say 'we should have won' that game. The team either wins it or it doesn't. There is no should win that counts.

I agree completely, if we play good and lose to the better team that's one thing
But last night this was not the case.
I mean to fight and scrap to get into the position we were in and to lose like we did last night is mind blowing.

They lost by 3 points despite Bryant not being 100 percent and then getting knocked out of the game. Lose like they did? You would think the score was similar to Washingston state being blown out by Cal, based on your post.

But there is every reason to be optimistic about this team going forward. That was proven last year after the loss.
But last night was indisciplined in every phase of the game:
Penalties
Playing KB after 1st quarter
Abandoning the run game in 1st half
STs were pathetic.. fake punt?!?!
D out of position, rarely set, late hits
Last night was abysmal and it starts at the top.
I believe we are a playoff team and I'd rather see us blow it at Syr than in Raleigh in a few weeks which wpuld likely cost the division. Great days are coming. Let the sun shine..

...coaches realizing something needs to change with how they think. Best is the standard. Last year is last year. We need to move forward with the chess pieces we have. I'm optimistic if coaches can change and not force something because of stubbornness.

Watson was reason many of the games were close last year and lost to Pitt. Interceptions in Pitt, NCSU, Lville, etc were big.

how was the loss embarrassing? it was a 3 point loss on the road to a team that clearly has good players, a game in which clemson's starting QB was hurt and then knocked out.
Did you even watch the game?
